  1. districts with more teams had to start earlier to end at th same time for the playoffs
  2. The brackets are shown at [Hidden Content] has anyone looked at them yet. The winner of our district gets a bye of course but so does the runner up of 24AAA so we meet them in the second round. Our third place team plays 22AAA runner up in the first round with the winner moving on to the winner moving on to the third round. Where they will possibly play our district champion. Why is there no 23AAA? and why did they not move some of the byes created by not having that district to other areas of the brackett?
  3. With all of this said there are too many variables to know what any team will look like when these freshmen are seniors. Not only will you have the addition of some who aren't playing you will also have new underclassmen to add to the mix as well as transfrs.
  4. Ozen (-17 1/2) @ Vidor Lumberton @ Central (-19 1/2) LCM @ Nederland (-20 1/2) PNG @ Livingston (-13 1/2) Bridge City @ Hardin-Jefferson (-42 1/2) Orangefield (-17 1/2) @ Hamshire-Fannett Silsbee (-10 1/2) @ WOS Kountze @ Anahuac (-3 1/2) Buna @ Deweyville (-5 1/2) Warren @ Hardin NL
  5. seeing as Silsbee has 3 sophomores on the varsity you could sy 3 potential JV starters were playing varsity as well....
  6. Cleveland is the higher ranked team this year. This is because they beat the Tigers. They beat us when we weren't playing well. They will be tough but I believe the Tigers can handle them.
  7. i believe they have 1 but usually start 5 juniors. it will be hard for the tigers to replace those they lose among those an all stater. They do have Hill, 6'6" Thomas who starts at times 2 sophomore starters in Stallworth and Lane plus another sophomore Harris that can play. they have 6'6" Barnes who should be coming up soon as well as some shooters on the JV so they should be more than competitive. They will sorely miss Robinson's playmaking, Byar's shooting and the all around play and leadership of Walters.
  8. Does anyone have a boxscore for this game? I wnted to see the leading scorers and how balanced the Tigers were.
  9. I see someone beat me to starting this thread but even worse than no article is no boxscore and not even the correct score.
  10. Yea I saw her leave and them move just wasn't sure what happened. They handled it well.
  11. Thats up to AAW..Good game tonight though..I didn't really see what happened in the stands was there much too it or was it minor?
  12. Hey Lazeek aren't you suposed to be changing something... :D
  13. ITS LESS THAN 12 HOURS AWAY........LETS GO TIGERS!!!!
  14. Ok you may be both right to a degree Fans can pep up their team but at the same time it can also give opposing players motivation to quiet the fans and truly tough players aren't usually affected. the home court advantage comes more int play by boosting the home team. why else do you see home players waving their arms to get the crowd louder..
  15. I can remember the tiebreaker games with Lincoln in the Montagne. One game with them in particular where they were ahead big in the fourth. Their fans were singing, twirling their umbellas just going crazy. But our press started to get to them and we ended up winning.
  16. I thought of that one too but I was a little too youg at the time to remember them.
  17. Maybe Mid-county madness but the only other I can remember is Silsbee-Lincoln in the 80's.
  18. Ozen Central Lumberton Nederland Bridge City Silsbee WOS East Chambers Warren Kountze
  19. It will be great! I have been looking forward to this since last year since I unfortunately had tor work and missed the regional finals.
