I have a question for H-J fans since elegiblity has been brought up. I have heard that Jarvis Bernard also has age as an issue. Is this true??

Just got home from the game. Congratulations Tigers on a great year. I do not however feel that Kennedale was as "superior" as some one said. I do feel that missing our free throws was huge. And this was a game where height made a big difference. Most of their shots were short jumpers simply shot over our guys. A lot of our misses were due to adjusting for their height. Not to mention the big difference in rebounds. Their guard #10 was real good and #22 made some good shots from the outside but it was mostly inside that did us in from the field. Yes late in the game we did miss some shots we should have made but I believe by then it was about too late.

No disrespect towards anyone but the Silsbee-Crockett game has to be the best game I have ever seen. Not only coming back from a horrible first quarter but enduring after a 2.2 second miracle to send it to the second overtime and winning int that second overtime. And doing this with one of your team leaders on the bench after fouling out with 4 minutes left in regulation. Outstanding game.

No harm we just have to play our best no matter who it is.

You may be right but I think they seed the teams that make Austin by wins/losses after they know all four teams and then set up the match ups by the way Burkburnett won their game.

Yes he was a freshman and unfortunately he never made it back to Austin as Lincoln had Anthony Allen who played at Georgetown and Bay City had LaBradford Smith who went on to play for Louisville. It seems that each year during that timeframe 2 of these three would play for the regional championship.

i definately would not have a problem with that. I plan on doing the same during HJs game. Unfortunately if there is rnd 4 I will not be able to be there.

they must be good. but don't you think that aggresiveness plays into silsbee and hjs style should be great games

Yes it should be a good game and yes Crockett has beaten some good teams. Silsbee be did have a tough time with Orangefield the first two times they played them but they beet them by 30+ the last time. The tigers have only lost to high quality teams such as H-j and 4a Ozen(only a 8 pt loss). They also have beaten several high qulity teams includung several that are still playing. Yes some of them are in lower classes but they are still high quality teams. Should be a very interesting game. Go Tigers!!!!

Yes it will be great if both win.. Lets pack the house and pull for both teams 21-3A style.

Yes they have. Just have to have confidence. Silsbee has played some tough teams as well and comes out of the toughest 3A district around.
