  3. Young guns up 46-24 at the half.
  4. Got up 44-18 sent a whole new group in 2 quick 3s make in 44-24
  5. 35-14 Tigers halfway through the first half.
  6. Tigers up on Teague 13-4 early on.
  7. I would have rather seen a home and home flip myself!!
  8. And was just told Teague who we play at 2:30 is big as well and they, Lake Olympia and Us have not been defeated all year. Going to be tuff starting now.
  9. Yes I believe it was 26 wasn’t there. Had to give my 6 yr old a little pool time this morning. And yes that Odom team looks big. One team yesterday was.
  10. Tigers win their last game 58-36 and go through group play undefeated. Next game at 2:30.
  11. Not sure but that is the severe part of getting a tech.
  12. Most definitely...and some of them will step right up. I know the comparisons that have been made to the last few years are tough. But one thing this group has in some of its top players that Devon and Jordyn didnt have as incoming freshmen is the build that they both developed, these guys like the freshman Williams is the body of say a jr or senior. Will be a learning curve and i am sure will take some lumps next year but the future is bright.
  13. Thats a Good question, one of those ifs we'll never know. It may not have happened in the half and yet i have seen Brae knock down a three steel the inbounds and knock down another shot in probably less than 5 seconds on more than one occasion. Big thing about 5 pts. Is that the winning margin was just that. And without those 5 we wouldnt have reached that OT....another iF
  14. Yes it is. If they make the finals I believe it is at 5 tomorrow. There is a good looking team from Lake Olympia on the other side of the bracket. They have some good looking players and some height. Should be a good one if they both make it.
  15. Up 32-16 at the half over Jones. Will have to watch for final, have to leave for party.
  16. Didn’t realize that but you could tell after he hurt it and especially in the second half while he was in he just didn’t have any push off of it. Was more of a liability than an asset at that point.
  17. The future Tigers won their first game in the Middle School Championship 56-19 over McReynolds. Two more game in division play.
  18. I understand that and maybe that’s what he was getting out it was just I wasn’t understanding the way he said it that “. The difference is HJ lost a possession they had earned by being fouled “.
  19. Was definitely huge at the time. Not following the part about Hj losing a possession they earned though. Wasn’t Brae the one fouled and then the tech foloiwing that for slapping the ball back at Braelon.
  20. No other HISD school will protest....
  21. Yes the two wins Martin had big nights. And 20/20 well that just speaks for itself.
  22. Yes rebounding was a big part in the series this year. In each game the winning team out rebounded the other by 8 or 9. A big part of that last night was that defense down low by Williams and Martin. As far as the number of fts Braelon shot 2 of those were the Tech and a large number were late in the game, where you know he is going to have the ball the majority of the time. I didn’t see too many calls last night that I thought were bad or even questionable. I did think the 2 jump balls there back to back in I think the 3rd quarter were kind of fast as well as that 5 second call on HJ, it was close but seemed kinda quick. This year took us back a few years to the meat of the rivalry. It has been fun.
  23. Hmmm just read where Braelon played with the flu tonight......
  24. You may be right....tonight basicall felt like three different games...the first half was kind of like i felt things should have been after that first game, after it i felt like some smarter choices by the Tigers would have led to an 8-10 pt win....the third quarter was more like that second game where we could just not get any scoring, except from Brae, that one i felt like we could have lost by 8 or 10 except for Bush’s herculean effort. Then we went back to a different Tiger group for that last quarter and ot. Great to be a Tiger tonight and end this session of the two being In the same district as the #1 seed with 2 wins out of the 3 games. Another instant classic. Big difference tonight for me was more scoring help and a lot better defense. Naturally HJ having a starter playing injured was a help. Cant blame him for wanting to get out there but it sure looked like he was a little more of a liability tonight than an asset. He just couldnt get much out of that ankle. After looking at the stats one impression i had wasnt as bad as i thought. It felt like the Tigers lost a good chance to put the game away with a few more made ft’s in regulation but other than Brae there werent as many shot as it seemed like. Just at the time when you remember them the most. The biggest difference fir the Tigers tonight was our defense and especially the defense and time played by the two freshmen, Harper and Williams. Both did a real good job. I especially liked the way Williams banged and played down low. Congratulations Tigers and keep rolling!
  25. Hey man is there another PA Memorial or did they make a big change??
