Kind if hard to admit it but me too!!

I think you may have a little in that last line. Our starting 5 vs theirs was a decent edge to us. The fact that we didn’t really get into our bench in either game may have created some tired legs. I really thought we would have got a little deeper than we did in both games but thats how it goes. i think their foul trouble may have helped a little in it gave a couple of their players some good rest especially 3.

Yes I know that and I fixed it. It was Aaron that I meant to put but somewhere I keep having the name Chris Sells in my head even though I know who Aaron and Chris Martin are very we.

Man its hard to really put in words what i am feeling. Disappointment?? Yes a little really wanted these guys to go out on top. Sad?? A little going to miss this group of seniors but look what they accomplished in 4 years: 2 state titles, a runner up , and played in 26 of 28 possible playoff games. Along with many other accomplishments. Angry?? Not really...we didnt play to our best and our opponent did. Sometimes thats what happens, its just part of life...take your lumps and kee going. Happy.....proud??? Well yes i think, even though it might not fit today, that is what i feel. I am happy to be a Tiger fan throughout the last 4 years watching these young men grow and compete as the best team on the 4A level at least for that period of time. And happy to see the rewards of their hard work, 2 of these srs going on to Austin Peay to play basketball, another with at least a couple offers to play at the next level. As well as a couple more going on to play college football. Good athletes and even more so good kids. I guess that makes me one Proud Tiger. Devon, Jordyn, Landyn, Cam, Aaron and JaVawn, oh how we will miss yall!! Keep striving to do your best. This group of Tiger fans love you and wont forget you.

Really wanted to see my Tigers matchup with WH. Since they both got beat out can we set up the matchup in an unnamed gym???

Great post. And I know it wasn’t easy for you. No the refs didn’t cost us the game. Yates took it and we helped a little. 2 techs and a few unforced turnovers. It’s hard to blame the refs when Yates had so many in foul trouble. The only issue I had was how physical it got down low and some of those charge calls. I was right behind one basket and had a neutral fan in front of me that had problems with a few of them as well. Nothing you can do but play on. Yates defense was the difference today, smothered us enough to win it.

I thought we had a few uncharacteristic turnovers. A few that were taken from us that normally arent. Now whether that was a knock on our play or a credit to ours i guess is ones opinion.

Life played a great game. They are the type of team that gives the Tigers fits. It seemed like every loose ball or deflected ball ended up in their hands. The big guy was good but we let him get away dribbling the ball down court a little too much. We made our run late and hot this one behind us. One thing we Tiiger fans may forget to mention is the one bad break that Life got, loosing what may have been their second best player to an injury before that run took place. This was a good win for my Tigers one that they may have been looking past a bit and was also better than most expected. Glad this ones behind us. Now lets go slay Yates once again.

Connaly can’t dribble cleanly on the run and trouble finishing or it might be at least a single digit lead.

One thing to remember when playing teams like us, there are a lot more possessions for a team to score more points than most games. However we definitely need to play a little better defense on the back side of the press. Too many easy buckets.

Tigers should take this one. By how many or how many points we will score will depend on how well we can force the tempo. From the little I saw Huffman it looked like they had a pretty good fundamental team. But the Tigers should prove to be just too much.

And by the score i just saw Lorena just knocked Palestine out 68-56.

From what I saw out top 6 or 7 have a nice edge on Yates. Now so far I have only seen the second half of this Hj game but you have to remember something else, we are going to put as much if not more pressure on Yates than they will on us. I didn’t notice HJ doing that. We will wear on Yates and they will tire as well. We play our game and I think it will be much like last year.

Sinply stating although my Tigers are the favorites we cant overlook Yates.......
