Orange is almost 2 hours away so they have a biggr argument than anyone. We are about 1:20 mins away. Not 2+ for any of us. Sure i would have liked lamar for distance but after the explanations i am fine.

All this talk of previous wins against us or our playoff win vs you mean virtually nothing. The only thing that it gives is the “they can’t beat us” or “we can’t get past them” mystique. You can even throw out that game a few weeks ago. These are both 2 different teams now. I have questions still in my head for both sides not only pertaining to this game but anymore that the winner will play. Naturally I want to see my Tigers win but I really want a good clean game with no injuries so that the winner will be in good shape for the next week.

Not sure how banged up Jasper would have done. May have won but without the 3 I saw listed they are a long way from the team that earned that ranking all year.

That is probably the most accurate statement that has been made. I have always enjoyed watching basketball more because of the pace we play at, however these last few football games have been quite fun. These guys are playing with great enthusiasm and effort right now. I also know that both of the main two in the above conversation are parents of players in the 2 sports so i know they have a little stronger opinion based on their respective sports. I cant wait to see the basketball team at full strength but definitely do t want the football team to fall short of their goal either and i know their bball teammates and fans dont either.

Yes and i agree in that i thought it would have been nice and wanted a closer game. But playing it away like that should avoid the issues that have hone on outside of local games recently.

Just ran this one on calpreps it says on a neutral field WOS 22 Silsbee 21. I have been surprised how reasonable these have been on past ones I have looked at. Hopefully the game lives up to this but I hope the score is reversed!!

I don’t know anything about Duncanville but by the record on that dreaded site it looks like they may be struggling a bit right now. But WH is impressive at this point. And yes that region is loaded as usual.

Reading that article, it says not for ejections from the rules of the game. So you leave for 5 fouls naturally you are ok. You also get 2 techs a game, you can get one for hanging on the rim or dunking before the game. So what are the standards for the suspension...is it being physical or even verbal???

Oh and Wos defense hasnt been the only thing to improve, remember that was when we were still finding our qb. He and our running game have improved as well. It will be interesting to see how he handles this one.

You are wrong on one point, this will be our biggest game since 2015 when we lost 56-40 to Carthage in the regional finals.

My my....i dont make predictions for the most part and wont here. But we Tiger fans and Mustang fans as well as others sure have been proven wrong from our early season opinions. Both teams have reached the pinnacle of where they can both reach and one will go on. After hearing things such as a wos 1st or 2nd round loss, from its own fans none the less. And hearing the same or worse about the Tigers, myself included. Both teams seem to be peaking so lets go out and have a nice clean game.

You are exactly right i will very rarely talk crap before the game. Except usually to those i know. I wont sit here and try to take anyone lightly this far in the playoffs and normally anywhere in the season. And yes i did play many years ago. As far as tough breaks, i think the Tigers gave you plenty of tough breaks. No rushing game, with all that talk about that big offensive line. Only big run you had, he got walked down and had the ball punched right out of his hands. I wont talk crap but wont listen to it on my guys either. Especially when they come out and show you what its all about.
