I expected Harmon to but Edwards did last weekend and made a good case for himself. That is based just on the players i saw last weekend.

No movein. We only had 8 players. A couple of those should put in some good minutes off the bench but we have 1 probable starter and 4 or 5 more playing football.

Proud of my Tigers tonight. Tough game. Sloppy game. I believe we stuck with the one qb but i was distracted at times. We desperately need at least some passing game. Turnovers on that wet field played a big part tonight and unfortunately my Tigers had the one that hurt the most there at the end. Keep working guys!!

I still cant sy much about WOS since i havent seen them. Yet this one is about what i expected. It sounds like WOS has the same problems offensively we have had. At some point you have to be able to have some sort of passing game. I would have thought you might have been able to score at least a couple times, not sure if that late td was a good drive or against subs. I do believe Newton has to be the odds om favorite and shouldnt have too big a test this year at least once district starts. My only wish tonight is field conditions wouldnt have been as big a factor as they were in many games.

He looked good. He needs to be a little more foul conscious. We will need his size a lot this year as we have dropped a little of that the last two years.

Trying to get outside and make a cut on 2nd down and maybe 4 on this field????? should know you aren’t going to make many cuts on this field!

From some of what I have been told there was a little more than just adding him to their group. I believe it was kids wanting him to join them as well as maybe a small attempt but it wasn’t going to be cleared so it was dropped.

Must have been a significant rule to drop a starter.

I am not sure you can judge anything by that lcm game except maybe how well your band plays the fight song. I know the wos defense is going to be tough. But neither team is going to have the speed advantage they are used to. Without seeing wos i have to give the advantage to Newton. Not sure how many tds that newton can score on the mustang d but they have the tools to do it. Now if the Mustang offense is not potent and turns the ball over that Newton defense will turn it into 6 as well. Definitely expect this to be the toughest game so far for the Eagles, cant wait to see how they respond. Its tough going to Orange.

Jasper has no need to be concerned about our 104 to teams like Newton and PNG when they put a schedule tgether with 3 games in a row against teams like Bridge City, Livingston and LCM....heck they might as well see if spurger will throw together a football team so they can add them to their schedule or Maybe they can get Chester out there and play 11 on 6.

I agree but see where it would create major benefits once again in larger cities. In this case as far as United is concerned it would be a big loss but it would be to a school in a different class so you wouldnt have to worry about that team when it counts. As far as we are concerned, guard is not a position we reallly need. But of course more depth is almost always welcome.

No big secret to this, Baker got tired he was basically playing one end of the court or the other toward the end. Tigers had 4 starters the first 2 games plus one other varsity player from a year ago. The other three were 2 subvarsity last year and one i dont remember playing last year.

No injuries just playing it safe.
