I am not sure you can judge anything by that lcm game except maybe how well your band plays the fight song. I know the wos defense is going to be tough. But neither team is going to have the speed advantage they are used to. Without seeing wos i have to give the advantage to Newton. Not sure how many tds that newton can score on the mustang d but they have the tools to do it. Now if the Mustang offense is not potent and turns the ball over that Newton defense will turn it into 6 as well. Definitely expect this to be the toughest game so far for the Eagles, cant wait to see how they respond. Its tough going to Orange.

Jasper has no need to be concerned about our 104 to teams like Newton and PNG when they put a schedule tgether with 3 games in a row against teams like Bridge City, Livingston and LCM....heck they might as well see if spurger will throw together a football team so they can add them to their schedule or Maybe they can get Chester out there and play 11 on 6.

I agree but see where it would create major benefits once again in larger cities. In this case as far as United is concerned it would be a big loss but it would be to a school in a different class so you wouldnt have to worry about that team when it counts. As far as we are concerned, guard is not a position we reallly need. But of course more depth is almost always welcome.

No big secret to this, Baker got tired he was basically playing one end of the court or the other toward the end. Tigers had 4 starters the first 2 games plus one other varsity player from a year ago. The other three were 2 subvarsity last year and one i dont remember playing last year.

No injuries just playing it safe.
