You just hit the nail on the head. I was going to post about The Heart of a Champion but have been driving. That’s where this game was won. All of these Tigers have plenty of it. But this time it’s time to talk about the sophomore. Bush showed more heart than you could imagine. I told several including his Dad that he gave all he had as well as all I had and my wife and daughter as well. He scored 40 in this one and 64 in the 2 games. Barnes 15 pts and 10 rebounds a big presence inside. And Devon playing floor general today getting to the basket at ease 33 pts 8 boards and 8 assists. He was big, every time we needed a basket there he was at the rim. Jordyn with 18 5 rebs and 5 assts. along with Landyns 8 pts and 6 boards and Martins 6 pts. These guys played hard and hungry. Like has been said Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion!

This is the X factor to me. If we handle him inside or get him out of the game with fouls we will have a big edge. If we let him control things we are going to have a big battle. Either team could win in either case but take his size out and I like it a lot better.

This win showed the Tigers heart. Come out firing on all pistons right out of the gate. Get a nice little lead and then watch Connally fight right back and give us all we wanted and then some. But these Tigers never give up and kept battling and finally took over in that fourth quarter. Way to go guys! Now you can focus on that battle that everyone has been wanting to see.

We have read all these score comparisons between our two teams, and then seen how everyone says how close it will be. I have to say after seeing Scarborough against Shepherd I wasn’t really expecting the game to be as hard fought as it was. However I just looked at the box score/ scoring thread of both games y’all played against them and see you never could shake them either. I suggest everyone take their nerve and heart pills befor3 the game Saturday if we both get there.
