Today SabinePass will be playing Spurger in hopes to clinch a playoff spot. They will be playing a double header starting around 4 o'clock. Should be a hard fought game but the Sharks have alot to lose so they should be playing like theres no tomorrow.

Yah they are reigning district champs but this is a new season and last year. With Sievers gone they wont be in the race for first. Sabine Pass the 3rd place team from last season took them down in a hard fought game. Then the Rebels come back and 10 run rule the Sharks... I doubt that High Island will come out with this upset this week.

Evadale is a well coached ball club. They are a great group of kids and good sports. This game on friday will be a complete blowout in evadales favor. I think even if High Island wins this game they still wont catch the Rebels in the race for first. the score was 8 to 7. The sharks lost it in the second inning and they just couldn't re-cooperate after that. they almost came back in the top of the 7th when Hunter Cruthirds stole home and Korey Arceneaux hit a two run bomb. They were still down by 1 and at the bottom of their line up. :-\

What happend to SP being a top competitor in 1a? If they keep playing like this they wont even make it to the playoffs

I think the worst way to loose is when is the bottom of the 7th and the bases are loaded with two outs and the game is tied...then your pitcher balks to lose the game!now tell me that aint the worst way to lose a ball game.
