Central is the underdog in this one for good reason... Nederland is 5-1 and undefeated in district, while Central got their first win in 20-4A on Friday... But I noticed a HUGE difference in the attitude of the team and more importantly the coaching staff... I hate to say this, but I didn't see much fire from the staff in the games I had seen before Friday... This week they came ready to play and did some very good things... Offensively they lined up in the I and ran the football downhill... Offensive line played well and you can't ask for anymore out of Emanuel Carter... Defensively that front three did their job again (As always!) and then everyone else joined in... A couple of picks with good returns helped the offense get into good field position... Central has a chance to knock off Nederland, but it's an uphill battle!

That explains the second rush of people on Friday, we could tell something was going on, and apparently it was because his mother had passed out.... I hope for his sake that Mitchell is able to come back and play this week....

Last week was not a good week for the offensive line, but Coach Dotson said it best.... When Bramble came into the game, they knew they could pin their ears back and go.... It was obvious to everyone at The Butch.... Central knew what was coming and couldn't stop it.... I expect LC-M to bring a lot of pressure tomorrow night, and force Central to show they can block up front.... As I said on a previous thread, the running game has to be found.... I know Carter went 15 for 78 last week, but that's not enough to get it done....

Silsbee is deserving of their spot in the rankings.... I am the single pollster who ranked East Chambers as the top team in the 2A-Private Poll... I have actually had EC ranked in the top three in my rankings for a while, and the win cemented that thought.... Kelly I had ranked high as well previous to their losses.... I think that EC deserves to be ranked as the top team because of their win last week.... It changes week to week though, and I have been proven wrong before!!!!

Soulja, we are on the same page with this one.... Central has to find the running game.... Carter and Collier (who by the way I'm not sure I saw on the field very often last week) have to run downhill and move the chains....

No loss........ He should have been banned a long time ago.....

I would argue with anyone that as of today, Mark Henry is the baddest man in the WWE.... Wish I was going to be in Silsbee lol..... (Never thought I'd utter those words!!!)

I'm already kind of bent out of shape over the fact that while I'm calling the Vidor/Ozen game Saturday night at The Butch that the WWE is performing over at Ford Park just a few short steps away!!!!! Maybe we can get Mark Henry on at halftime!!!! Work that out for me Mike!!!!

Emanuel Carter is going to have to carry quite a bit more of the load than he has been asked to.... Hopefully the Jags can get something figured out and get in the win column....

One of these teams is overrated..... I'll withold my opinion until the game is over.....

Although it's a long shot, what about the fact that the only BISD school in the playoffs in 2011 could be the Ozen Panthers???? West Brook should make it, but it's not a given, and Central is tucked in nice and firm behind the 8-ball.....

Well, first of all, I agree with earlier statements, you feel for the individual, who could have had his season taken away from him.... Secondly, for Central to hold on to whatever small playoff hopes they have left, they need 12 on the field....
