I believe that WO-S and Royal will be the better game.... I think Royal  is being overlooked by quite a few people....

Definitely made that game a fun one to call....

This football season needs to end... Too much sadness involved this season...

What makes this game interesting to me is that Newton has obviously improved tons from when I saw them Week 1 vs. Kirbyville.... Cameron Yoe has been a hot pick to win the region since the realignment came down.... I don't know if Newton has the horses or not to get it done, but it's hard to pick against this team.... I think it will be one heck of a game and hopefully if it all falls right the Eagles will move on.... They did a great job against one of the more powerful offenses in East Texas last week, so the defense will have to play well again....

That defense will have to be on it's A game like they were against Jefferson.... Offensively the Panthers can move the football if they can hold on to it!

Raymond is the real deal boys.... I've seen Kirbyville all year and there haven't been many players of that caliber that I've seen.... The future is bright for that young man.... I also enjoyed watching Kimble and Trice play on that line....

It's just a matter of time before Dodge is at a high profile job SOMEWHERE.... I'd be surprised if he jumped in somewhere this early before hearing all of the other options that might be available.....  There aren't many schools in the state that wouldn't get rid of their current man if they had a shot at Dodge....

Well, I'm just one man with one opinion lol....

Anahuac is one of those teams that you fall in love with when you watch them.... Last week I was impressed with Wyatt Raymond and what that defensive line was able to accomplish.... They will have their hands full this week with Crockett, who is a very good football team.... If Johnson and Albritton can get the offense revved up and the defense forces a few turnovers, the Panthers could get out of there with an upset win....

Coldspring should win this one, no doubt.... Hopefully they don't look ahead to next week and slip up.... Kirbyville has to handle their business as well, but I'm loving the thought of a Kirbyville/Coldspring re-match!!!

I enjoyed the tournament, and although we did not fare well, it is always nice to come to Ford Park.... The people are great and the facilities are top notch.... We'll definitely be back.... Hopefully we will win a game or two next time!!! ;)

Guys I agree that a forum MIGHT work.... But then we run into the same problem.... If we have an East Texas forum, someone has to provide the content for it.... And then people still have to visit the Forums.... Todd showed you guys the numbers, even in our best months, we get in one month what you get in ONE DAY.... My question is, why waste someone's time and effort on an East Texas section, when it had it's own site and no one was there? Who is going to maintain it? One of the benefits of dropping the site was me getting to focus on SETX and what is going on down here and if we open up an East Texas board, then there I am again tied up in that.... Todd hit the nail on the head earlier, no one cared about the site until it's gone.... And I'm sorry that Brad has worked hard on information the last few weeks when I've busted my tail on that site for years now.... It's just part of it I guess, I don't know....

Don't know how many of you are watching NASCAR since we're in the middle of football season, but this final race at Homestead should be a great one.... Denny Hamlin leads Jimmie Johnson by 15 points headed into the final race, while Kevin Harvick is 46 points back I believe.... Closest race in NASCAR Chase history... You guys think that Jimmie can come back and win the 5th in a row?

I think that's probably the best solution.... Drop the Eastex board completely and add it to the basketball forum here... It's the only thing worth bringing over...

Guys, I'll be honest, and Jordan and I as well as Todd have talked about this... This may be the perfect time to let the thing go... I understand that Chad or whoever wants to talk about how much work Brad has done, I don't even want to hear it....  He has spent about a 1/10000 of the time I have and we have seen no results.... If anything I would do what Chad suggested, add an East Texas section to the board, but I don't even know if I would waste my time with that...
