Tigersvoice, First of all, my connection to faculty and administration of the school is much deeper than you may realize or know... I know firsthand the impact the school's closing has made on faculty and administration... The school had no money to pay its faculty yet they have spent MANY dollars on paying a consulting firm who came in and after what I would consider half-ass research decided to close the school... That money could have paid the faculty at least a portion of what they were owed... My view may be narrow, but it comes from the eyes of someone who has seen it from both sides...

I hope they don't make all of those kids sit out a year... I know some of the basketball players who transferred out are getting to play this season....

The athletic department is taking the blame for ex-higher ups who ran the college into the ground financially...

It's a sad situation for all of those kids.... Not just football players, but cheerleaders, basketball players, baseball players and softball players.... The people who made the decision to close the school did not have the best interest of the kids at heart....

The kid is definitely one of the most athletic kids I've seen on a football field.... Big time play maker who will excel at the next level!!!

I spoke with Jordan on the phone Sunday... As far as BISD, I'm on board with doing it again, but we talked about getting his new ad guy to see if he can sell it... It's something that may or may not be worth it if we can't make anything off of it... Scoreboard show- If I don't do BISD, I'm all for doing that instead, and Todd if you wanted to do it with me that would be great, but we'll need to know what's going on with BISD first...

As someone who played for Coach Mahaffey in Rusk, and know his character, H-F would be well served to have him in charge....

Those final rankings take into account what happened in the playoffs as well... Ozen had a nice win over Brenham that really put the spotlight on them.... They were a play or two away from beating La Marque.... I don't have a problem with them ranked....

Cedar Hill is no joke.... Will be the best team Ozen has played

While the spread offense is fun to watch, it has completely destroyed defenses in high school football.... Teams at times seem willing to give up a touchdown so they can get the ball back....

You guys know I'm an outsider, so I don't know the history of the Super, or the racism or anything else that has been mentioned here.... But I do have an opinion about a few of the issues.... I think WB is going to struggle to get an established coach to take over.... First of all, on the football field this team is going to struggle over the next couple of years based on what I saw coming back.... I thought at times this year Stump may have been unfairly criticized (Coach and QB) but that comes with the job....  They will also struggle to find a veteran coach because of the facility situation on campus.... No field house is a big deal, regardless of who says it isn't.... The Butch is as nice as they get, but it only helps on game day....  It will have to be someone who is moving up the ranks or someone who is looking for more money.... On the SETX Sports Show on KSET AM1300 at 3:00, I'll throw a name or two out there, a couple of them have been mentioned on this thread.... I'm interested to see how it plays out....

Has there ever been a coach leave when it WASN'T the super's fault??? LOL I don't think you can blame Thomas for this one... The circumstances around the program will make it interesting to see who applies and what kind of coach they can bring in now...

If you're going to accuse Todd of singling out H-J folks for their issues, and you are saying others are getting a free pass, then please, let us know who is getting a free pass and we'll look at it.... Otherwise, it's just hot air coming out of your blowhole....
