I say yes. Ask again in two years.

If I remember right Woodard has a potential bonus tied to attendance. I believe that may have been what drove him to make that comment. I almost didn't go to the game because of rain and the fact that I could sit at home and watch the game. If it wasn't for my friend who reminded me that we did it for Lee we could do it again. If not for him I would have stayed on my comfortable couch and not risked getting wet. I believe the potential for rain and the game being televised are the top two factors that kept fans away. I think the last paragraph of the article is the best. I hope we haven't gotten to that point already.
then why show the lower level of talent anyway? Typical SETX way of thinking. Very poor judgement. Congrats to Lamar on the win though. A win is a win.
Why show college football on TV at all? The NFL has a higher talent level, except for the refs. -

You play ULL then PVAM Play Hawaii then Langston. Play a tough one you have no chance in and then play a cupcake. What has this team learned in their first three games? What did we learn fans want to see their team win. So schedule easy games at home when you can.

I don't know about you, but I like to see my team grow during the early part of the season and compete come conference time. Beating PVAM and Langston by 30 points and then losing to SHSU and SFA by 40 is not helping this team. I would like to think by yerar 3 this program is a little further along than they are. It's year three and we still are playing NAIA and Div II teams. Woodard is looking for cheap wins, but these blow out losses are about to catch up to him.
Every school in the Southland except Southeastern has a game against DII or NAIA school this year. There programs have been around longer than three years. Nicholls State has a game against LA Valley College a Juco. McNeese played McMurry DII Central Arkansas plays Bacone College NAIA Sam Houston played Incarnate Word DII Northwestern played Arkansas-Monticello DII SFA played Southwestern Oklahoma DII
They have 1 game on their schedule, how many does Lamar have on theirs? PVAM Langston McMurry If we did have ULL and Hawaii already for this year, we would have proably had more. All Woodard is doing by playing these schools is padding his overall record. I would hope by year 3 we would be little further along than still playing langston each year.
PVAM is FCS Lamar has twelve games this year. Every other team in the Southland has eleven. Instead of taking a week off they chose to play another game at home and take advantage of the good attendance and make some money. Sounds like a smart move to me. -

Constant pressure by the defense the PV QB never had much time to throw. I'm not sure of the auctual number of sacks but had to be close to 6. -

Lamar 30 PVAM 29 From al.com [Hidden Content] -
I do think the defense is better this season even though the scoreboard does not show it. The offense put them in a bad spot often in the first half. The offense looks to be a weakness on this team. The RB's seamed to be the only bright spot. Even the ULL broadcasters commented on how Lamar looked set there. The O Line needs some work. The OT's were getting beat on most passing plays. I was surprised that LU did not go deep more often. But that could be explained by ULL playing two deep on the safety's which I could not see online. I can't blabecause you cantme the coaches for the fumbles but taking timeouts because you can't get the plays in pn time is all on them.
