lol...Im sure he appreciates that...Burkeville has a brutal schedule...first three games are against Timpson, Tenaha, and Joaquin. With Roy Harper coming back things can only get better however. It should be an interesting year for Burkeville. Go Stangs!!!

Maud is an outstanding DEFENSIVE team...they will be tough to beat for that very reason. They put the ball in play on offense and they limit the amount of strikeouts. I cant wait to see how they fair in the deeper rounds. If defense wins championships then the Cards will make a splash. When a pitcher has a great defense behind him then he can do so many more things in the way he pitches to hitters. Good luck to the remaining teams..keep ur head up Rebs...learn from this experience and go get em next year.....btw..I AM the REAL Luther X!!!!!

Legendary coach Roy Harper is returning to Burkeville next year to try and revitalize a once proud football tradition. Will he suceed?

The Rebels are 20-4. (not counting the tie they had to Kountze in the Evadale tourny)

Douglass defeated West Sabine...Evadale will play Douglass in the Regional Quartefinal round.

game will be at 6:30 Tuesday night in Huntington, Texas.

Big Sandy has a classy group of young men and a very well respected and classy coach. Good luck to the Wildcats who will play West Sabine in the opening Bi-district round.

at Wildcat Field in Dallardsville, Texas........The Evadale Rebels defeat the Big Sandy Wildcats by a score of 17-1 on Friday night. The win by the Rebels cap an undefeated district season and the Rebels sit 19-2 going into the playoffs and the warm-up games. Congratulations to the Evadale Rebels on a superb regular season.

The Rebels will travel to Port Neches on Friday to play the JV Indians in a warm-up game at 4pm. On Monday, The Rebels will play a make-up game with Big Sandy. Good luck Rebels.

Game was called due to rain in Dallardsville area. No word on definitive make up date..but will keep all posted.

In what should a very interesting matchup, the Rebels will battle the JV Raiders in a non-district game today at Rebel Field at 5 pm.
