25 1A MVP no doubt so far : David Drake left handed pitcher from Evadale.

You get good umpires and bad umpires. Everyone knows who they are....all luck of the draw.

Difficult to say...I think they win district for sure. I also think that they have the parts for a deep run in the playoffs if all goes well. Going to be fun to watch this team.

The win by High Island makes things very interesting in 25 1A. They stay on the heels of the Evadale Rebels setting up a great matchup next Friday in High Island. Going to be fireworks in that one. The loss by Hull-Daisetta puts them in defensive mode for the rest of the season as they scramble to try and grab a playoff spot. Good luck to both teams.

Tyler Tucker of Evadale for 25 1A

It has been my experience that rankings dont really matter a whole lot. I have been around a lot of teams that were never ranked in state all year and end up winning it all. In fact, being ranked hurts some teams.

Most games if rained out will be moved to Saturday..also seen before where games are made up as a double header if both teams agree on it at a future date.

what time in the afternoon will the storms hit?

Cant wait for this one. The playoff games last year at Vincent Beck were classics.

Predictions? This thing could get very ugly. Good luck to both teams.

Buna is clearly the elite of their district. Once again Coach Terrier has the Coogs playing well. Going to be interesting to see what the Cougars do in the playoffs.

Evadale wins 17-5. The Rebels are undefeated in district and are simply rolling!

Josh Tucker hits another one for the Evadale Rebels to right center while Tyler Tucker hits a massive shot to left field against Sabine Pass. These two brothers have given the Rebels a needed powder keg to go along with the brilliant pitching of David Drake.

Is central that bad?

This is going to be a good game. I think High Island has the advantage on offense while Hull-Daisetta has the speed and pitching. This game is a matchup of two good shortstops. My prediction: High Island 7 Hull Daisetta 5. Both teams are competing for a playoff spot with no chance to catch or beat the Evadale Rebels.

This district is no contest. The Buna Coogs should already stamp their passport to the playoffs.

Good bounce back win for the Cardinals after their defeat to Evadale the night before. The Cards are a dangerous team with great #3 and #4 hitters. I wonder however do they have the pitching to compete with the Rebels in a district clearly dominated by Evadale?

Evadale wins 17 - 5. Clearly Evadale is the team to beat in this district. Josh Tucker hits a three run bomb and Tyler Tucker hits a moonshot in this game.

Ithink High Island wins this one. High Island has too much offensive power. This is going to be a battle of shortstops as both are very good players.
