It sounds like the attitude is if your from a small school, you can't play. I disagree. If that kid put up those kind of numbers, and he is not better than anyone on the All-Star team, something is wrong. It is still a 10' basket, and a 90' court. It is hard to put those numbers up against 5 cones in 32 minutes. The whole thing sounds biased to me.

Actually the report said the player was flunking an English class. They took him out of the class mid -season but failed to report the grade. According the rules - UIL I believe, he is still assigned the F even if he was taken out of the class. I am not sure about Texas rules, perhaps someones knows more about this. I know this is a shame on any level. Who would have know that this occurred. The coach, principal, AD?

Someone asked a question about South Oak Cliff, ateam from the Dallas area. I checked them out this week. Man, theyhad an awesome run - then I read they cheated. Not only once, but several other investigations, including one going on right now. They are lucky they are not recieving more attention. I have no respect for a program that is a known cheater. What is a championship worth if you cheated?

I must say this was a strange thread. I just moved here, actually, I am in the process of moving. I am a BB fan among other things. A few observations. DickieV - take my advice brother and seek help. I have dealt with many brothers in your shoes. Anger is your propellant. This bitterness you hold toward our white brethren is a poisen. Believe me when I say I have been there. I was a prisoner of my own feelings. After many years of anger, I have reached a point in which I blame no one. Ironiccally, I have attained much success since this change.
