There was no taking sides on my part actually. A quick glance at the forum rules shows: 18 ) The bashing of any particular coach, player, referee, etc will not be tolerated. This includes issues involving their personal lives, coaching/playing style or performance, past experiences, etc. Discussion over.
Then the mods should be consistent at enforcing the rule. I believe Huckabay was bashed over and over. Nothing ever done. I agree with what the yahoo said was out of line but you guys need to be consistent at enforcing the rules if you are going to enforce them. I'm glad someone did in this case.

If Miami Loses Tonight...Who goes?
ive watched alot of miami heat basketball this year, and most of the games its either wade or lebron with the hot start in the first qtr....as the games went on it was really up to who was shooting good that night. there would be some nights(once in a blue moon) where bosh would start off like 6-8 and then let bron or wade take over.
Seems to be though in the playoffs that LeBron starts off hot almost every game and then takes a step back instead of going forward. He didn't do that last night. -

I know it's not easy, but this is what I see from him a lot of games. He'll score 12 of the first 20 or so and then he'll quit shooting and end up with 16-18 at the half. He didn't do that tonight. He continued to shoot and I think that's what he needs to do. -

I don't get to watch much of the heat before the playoffs and someone can help me out here if I am wrong. It seems to me that they go as LeBron goes. What I mean by that is...they are better, much better, when he gets the Jordan and Kobe syndrome...give me the ball. I believe for his talent, he is extremely unselfish and it hurts them when he is. Wade has not shown up this series at all. LeBron just needs to play like he did in Cleveland...just do it all. Should be a good game. Maybe this game from LeBron will shut Skip Bayless up...lol. -

Boston shooting under 10% from behind the ark helps. You can support Spoelstra all you want but he's an average head coach at best (by all means much better than I could do). When a team can't produce good quality shots from running plays I think that's on the coach. Just give the ball to LeBron and run things through him seems to be their best offense (not saying I disagree with that), but it's tough to live by that the last two minutes of a game when the game is on the line and the other teams defense plays at a higher intensity. I believe you have said you are a diehard Celtics fan...I think you could agree they didn't have a very good game. LeBron won that game tonight, from start to finish. -

I don't think any of the big three go. I think Spolstra is out...possibly no matter what the outcome of the season is. Perhaps Pat comes back or they make a run at Phil. -
I will say this and I've said it from the beginning. LeBron should have went to Chicago. Miami was the wrong choice for him. No Center and No Point (unless he's playing it)...hard to win without those two.

Boston is a good team. So was Dallas last year. To me it's simple, when the Heat have to run an offense and they can't get fast break points...they can't score consistently. In my opinion the talent took them to finals last year and the conference finals this year. DWade closed out games with Riley on the bench and LeBron did better at closing out when he was in Cleveland. The last 2 minutes of close games the team looks lost and I think that's on the coach. If the players are missing open shots and the plays are well executed then okay, but they look completely lost. I bet if you put Phil, Riley, or any top level coach on that bench they win last year and they would win it again this. Just my opinion though.

Rivers, The Indiana Coach, Carlisle last year. The Heat look like they have no idea what's going on when they try to run a play.

Yes...I'm pretty sure LeBron has show up every playoff game this year. D-Wade is the one not showing up and LeBron gets the blame. Wow. -
Spolstra needs to go. He gets out coached just about every game.
If the numbers aren't down because of a coach, then why did my son tell me that 10-15 new kids were getting into football before we even have a new head coach. These are kids who played a few years ago, but got out. I guess they think the next coach will make it easy.
I wouldn't blame it on the coach. I would say these kids are probably weak. I would imagine there will much division from the kids who stuck it out and learned how to be tough. -
7 errors... SMH Yea oh well as i remeber last time we played Brenham in a playoff game was the year of the Hurricane 2009 ,so we had a one game playoff and BH lost on only one error in the btm of the seventh inning, imagine that Brenham was the home team, i really dont care how yall lose and long as we win. How about that?
Grow up.
i think 20-strikeout games and unassisted triple players are the only baseball events that are more rare.
How about two grandslams in one inning? That's pretty rare. Love what Hamilton is doing though.
That's exactly the point Graf. Why would Deweyville hire someone that if they do good is gonna be gone in a few years if they win there like Tilton did. So why would you wanna hire someone back after they left you before. If this guy stays for 10 plus years and does good they made the right choice if if leaves in 3 years after they get better they didn't make the right choice. Deweyville needs someone that is gonna build a program for years to come not just someone looking to build their resume. Another thing is they need to hire a basketball and baseball coach and let them run their own programs with off season for those sports
Until Deweyville pays much more, any coach that is successful probably won't stay around very long.
all yall stfu.. haters
Wow...you should be banned from this site. I don't think there should be 30 minute time limit or whatever it may be, if they were caught using a kid in four races (accident or not) they should lose those points.

Give me a break. Look at the two resumes of the finalists. Not even close. Just because you haven't been an AD yet doesn't mean you aren't more qualified than someone who has been an AD for one year. If the community forces them to look at other applicants, it will be a disaster. I believe they will lose their top two choices at that moment.
I don't think it is appropriate to call out a person on a message board and this is why. Reguardless of what we think a school board members job is thinkless. What I mean by this is they don't get paided. They are up there on their own free will. Do I agree with their thought process sometime? No I do not but until you have been there and done that it is hard to sit back and judge. Now I am talking about any organization. Be it youth football, basketball, baseball or whatever. Yes I have blasted the "Board" but never did I mention a name. Names should be left out. Just my opinion like anyone cares. LOL!!!!!!!
Let's be real...most of the parents on school boards these days are only concerned about their individual childs best interest. There are some good school board members, but as a whole...it's all part of the game. -

OF hasn't done great in basketball the last couple of years because other teams were just more athletic. The fact that they did what they did this year amazes me. They were tougher the wos and hf. They have no business beating some of the teams that they have beat in football (or even hanging close in so many games) or doing what they did in basketball. Coach Huck has taught them to be tough and I think they are the toughest in the district. I don't know why everyone is against UOS...it seems to work all the way around. I will say this too...I think Coach Huckabay should have been the coach of the year the past two years in 21-3A. He has done an amazing job with what he has compared to WOS, Silsbee, and BC...and OF wanted to get him out...what a shame.
