  1. It should be fun to follow how he does. I kind of hope he has a decent showing. I'm really ready to see Stroud hoist a trophy.
  2. My gut says they will get one from about 20 miles away.Darn good choice I might add. K-Ville? I think he means Beaumont Centralville
  3. There is definitely a Nederland assistant that applied. We can't blame a man who wants to advance his career with an AD title. i've never said that a nederland coach hasn't applied, i was disputing the "nederland bulldogs" username I need to restate: It would be a surprise to me if any Nederland graduates who are now on Nederland's coaching staff applied. Great if they did, great if they didn't. IMO it would be very hard to switch to the purple and white. JMO
  4. I'm with you admin, I would be surprised if there is a Nederland coach that applied.
  5. I'm trying to there. If I could give karma, I would!
  6. ;D Yea but if it was your school you would be the first to want to see the list. I would not if some had made it clear they might lose their job. Did someone make it clear they would lose their job, or was that something that popped up from the Boston College situation?
  7. What age are you looking for?
  8. Going with Ned in this one.
  9. The beaunont ref. likes too home cook a lot. I have seen some bad ref.before but not as bad. As the beaumont ref. Are you 6 yrs. old? That is the worst sentence (or sentences) that I have ever seen. I can barely make out what you are trying to say. Congrats to PN-G on a very good win. The district is certainly wide open this year. Dont read it. FO Hey aces, I think his comeback answered your question.
  10. There was a kid back in the eighties I believe his name was Bobby Strafface that was pretty dang good. I think that is his name. I could be wrong. Someone help me out from PNG. Orangefield had a kid that could play for 6'6" in Johnathan Livingston. It was the early 2000's or late 1990's I believe. But he never realized his potential. Yes his name was Bobby Straface, I think he ended up playing baseball for LU.
  11. Since Coop want research because it's baseball, I called Time Warner. No additional fee per them. Also, MLB network will carry 26 games this year. Guess who will be anchor, Harold 'lawsuit happening" Reynolds. I liked when he called the LL World Series. I remember a little about the lawsuit. What are the circumstances? I like Harold as a analyst, he was dumped by ESPN for sexual harassment. ok, I remember now. Thanks

  13. It shouldn't be smaller tournaments...... there are more teams signed up with Nations than USSSA in the Beaumont and Houston area. We should still see the same amount of teams as before and probably more since the county is finally fixing the fields at Ford Park. They would be nice to play on this year. I just wish they had fields big enough for my son, we will travel every weekend..... I thought there was talk of building or modifying some of the existing fields for older division tourneys. Anyone else hear that? They still are talking about doing this......the problem is with the county (Jefferson County anyway) it takes time, and with the current economic situation most if not all governmental bodies are looking at reducing cost right now. If they had this approved right now it would take at least a year to two before they could be able to play on. My sone will be in high school by then and we will still be traveling to Houston to play select. They looked at modifying the existing fields but there is not enough room but for one field. There are some fields going in in Lumberton that will allow the 13-15 yr olds to play at home and I cannot wait until they have a schedule posted there. That is good to hear. Lumberton is definitely closer than Houston.
  14. It will be interesting where Bob goes with this.
  15. Does he have his Master's? Something might be brewing.

  17. Or are they going to hold everyone hostage like the NFL Network?
  18. Why??? Just a guess, but it's probably because their little "superstar" isn't the superstar.
  19. Skip, I am pretty sure Asa Cardenas plans on going to LU.
  20. Congrats WO-S. any news on the senior division?
