  1. lol. We doubled them in yardage. Doubled them in time of possession. The only reason that game was even remotely close was because of not finishing drives, and those hometown refs in Forney trying to get them in the game. Forney is most definitely not a juggernaut by any stretch of the imagination...but they're definitely better than last season, and it's pretty crazy to think they're just the same team from then. For what it's worth, I'm not high on Richland at all and fully expect the Eagles to get by the Royals...but if anything has been shown by BH this season, it's that y'all are not consistent at all from week to week. Y'all talked all year about injuries and such but then once you score your largest victory of the year...you go and lose to THAT Porter team lol. I'm sure you'll say something about McNorth from last week, but in all reality, that was a 4th place team that got in because they faced off against Lancaster on the right week and didn't have to play against Lacy in the 4th quarter due to injury when he was dominating them.
  2. You saying this surprises me. I would take Forney by multiple scores over Richland currently.
  3. We're certainly beatable. Just like @aledoalumni told me he knows what it takes to beat Aledo, Longview fans know the same. Not like we're going to put it out there. Just going to enjoy the ride for however long we have left.
  4. Absolutely agree.
  5. Didn't impress but still won by 44? I'll take that any day of the week.
  6. Best of luck to the Titans in the future! To the real PAM fans that is at least. @Mr. Buddy Garrity, it's been fun chatting football with ya this season and following y'all's district. You're one of the good ones!
  7. Those HOBOS sending your boys home, my friend.
  8. And if the should've was a reality, Longview would have about 6 more state championships than we do. Is what it is. PAM had their chance to jump out on the Lobos early, but Longview's defense forced some turnovers and took advantage of a massive drop. I figured the first quarter would be all PAM's, but didn't except 23 in the 2nd quarter by us either. We'll see what happens in the second half.
  9. At the end of the day, this isn't Longview's first rodeo against someone who is fast. We are more than fast ourselves. We have 8 losses in 5 seasons, and 5 of them are to teams named Highland Park and Denton Ryan. Like I said on Smoaky, I'm sure PA Memorial will bring different things to the game than we've seen this season. But I mean...I'm sorry, we're not looking into the mirror like you've said lol. Common opponents don't mean much but I do think it gives us a little peak into the game. The fact that both Crosby and McKinney North games were one score games while ours were 34 and 42 point victories speaks a lot. PAM getting beat by Baytown Lee and giving up 41 to that McKinney North team (not to mention 34 to La Porte and that rushing attack).....I just. We'll see. Especially in a downpour. I know it's falling on deaf ears, but is what it is. Excited for Friday to get here.
  10. How is anything we've said disrespectful other than we think we should win?
  11. Y'all have played Lancaster before, you think they're slow? Didn't Crosby fans brag about beating us in track? How'd that turn out on the field?? We've played many a teams that are fast. Guess what, Longview is quick too. On the rain....Longview played in a monsoon just two weeks ago. Our power game is the run game, while y'all will need to keep the pressure off your line. Y'all really think a steady rain the entire game is going to favor y'all?
  12. I don't know how Friday will turn out. I know PAM will provide some challenges that we haven't seen yet, as any district champion this late into the season will do. But I do feel free confident on two things, Longview's line will be the best the Titans have seen all year and Longview's rushing attack will absolutely not be stopped. Tatum and AJ will get their yards, it's just going to happen. It's much more about limiting that, and forcing turnovers, more so than anything. I'm pretty confident PAM's QB will make some plays, especially against the rush. But we're not Wakeland or McKinney North, that's for sure.
