I guess some people here are thinking Ozen is gonna give us a whoopin cause of our 1-2 record. We got beat by a very good playing and well coached team in WOS. Secondly we played a really physical and big Waller team and we fell behind 23-7 in the 3rd quarter. Our boys could have closed shop, but instead they dug deep and scored 20 unanswered points, the defense got after it, and we won 27-23. Then we travel to FW where we met yet another big strong physical team and got beat. This has only made BIG NED that much better. We are back in our District now. This is where the Season really starts. Our offense will be ready on Friday Night, our defense will prove to everyone that we are better than what they're being given credit for. As i said earlier in the week, i predict a 13 point victory. These Dogs will only get better each week .. be sure and read this post again in a few weeks, i'm sure you to will agree.

I think our boys played as well as could be expected under the circumstances .. 3rd string QB .. few turnovers .. few bad snaps ..even a few dropped passes. I think these boys are mad now, because they know they are a better team than what people saw on Friday Night. FW is a very big tuff physical team. Defense keeps getting better each game and now that we are gonna face a team in our District we are gonna be fine. Our boys fought till the finish and i definately think it will cary over to this next game. Neumann and company have a way of getting these kids ready and i know they will want it. GO GET EM DOGS!!! Nederlands Defense was on the field much oh the first .. you can't expect them to stay on the field as much as they did at times without getting worn out .. Not making any excuses, just telling it like it was.

I think all players are relevant. It's just that these 2 guys had limited playing time last year and will have to work their way back into the system after they return .. as for as it hurting the team as it stands right now, they really have'nt been there all this year yet anyway, so i would'nt think so. But, they will both be a valuable asset to our team when they return. Nederland 24 Stark 21

I don't know why we're even going over there .. but, its on our schedule so we have to go play .. and with all these injuries it really looks bad .. but we'll do the best we can .. :'( :'(

I've been involved with 2 teams in this same position .. with 2 of my boys, and we were knocked out both times, 1996 and 2006 .. but not tonight 3rd time is a charm .. lets go Nederland ..

Yes, there were several of us dads out there today .. few had problems with cramps .. but nothing that would'nt be expected .. it was a scorcher out there today .. need for everyone to get in all the fluids they can and keep their heads up .. all in all i think we had a productive practice ..
