OK enough is enough!!!! BOTH schools acted very bad...Lets not make it out that it was all PNG. I think it all started when the players from PNG were being announced and all Nederland players, Coaches, (except for 1), and cheerleaders turned their backs to the player being introduced. It was senior nite and the same was done. It all went down hill from there. It is not all one sided as some are making it out to be. Both schools were wrong and yes, the administrators should have stepped in. I am not sure why after the game the players and parents from Nederland stayed around, while we were continuing our senior nite celebration but they were asked to leave. I would hope it would be to congratulate the winning team, or seniors but I guess we will never know. Good Luck in the playoffs to both teams

All I know is PNG is undefeated through the first round. But going by the news cast you would think Nederland is the team to beat. I am not sure about the rest because not all report the scores, as of now.... 1 PNG 8-0 2 Ozen 6-2 ?? 3 Livingston 5-3?? 4 Nederland 5-3?? I think Ned and Livingston are now tied with each other, but now for sure. Maybe someone can help out with their wins and losses.

I know the JV for PNG has their starting 4 out with injuries. A few of them have went and played a few Varsity games plus a couple of them are out.

I know they are not taking them granite. Just one game at a time. I think PNG beat LCM in district if I remember right. Should be a good game but PNG will still have to play their A game to advance.

I say LCM and PNG both advance first round. After that who knows. Goose Creek and Kingwood Park are both 6-3 in district.(neither one is playing their best right now) We will see.

LCM should win...BUT it depends on who wants it more. I will go with LCM

I got some friends who moved to the area from Florida. The have been hearing about MCM Madness and wanted to know the history. Their was a CD put out a couple of years ago and it had some of the old players and coaches talking about it. Does anybody know where I might find a copy of it. Mine was lost in one of the Hurricanes. Thanks.... Reagan Hawkins, teacher at NHS, produced the DVD you are asking about. It was titled "Bragging Rights" and was very well done. Contact him at the HS if you wish to purchase one. Thanks Videoguy but I am still out of luck. I have called NHS 2 times and still it seems they don't know where to find this guy. I think there was 12 teams

This will depend on the girls. We have a few tournaments lined up as exposure tournaments and will also being playing in the Ronald McDonald tournament in November. We have some colleges who have contacted us to come visit as a team and plan on seeing them this fall.

Beaumont Blast 16U and (18U if enough are interested) will be hosting their first fall tryout Saturday August 15th from 9am -12 at the College Street fields. 81-Bryan Ward 82-Chris Tibbits (not sure on spelling) 81-Steve Powell (He threw with both his left and right arm) Can you get me names of colleges for these guys. BC has a freshman who will be a soph. who could possibly throw with both arms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Powell pitched a double header against Liberty one game left then the next game right. I know he went to Florida and was going to walk on, but not sure how it came out. Ward not sure about... Tibbits not sure either.... I will try and find out more.
