Lumberton has hung tough this season against two vastly superior teams to Jasper. I’ll take the Raiders over Jasper handily.

Good luck getting those jets off the runway. OF hasn’t seen anything like the relentless pass rush BC will bring Friday. A full on ground assault by Manning would be my strategy as the run game has been more effective against BC.

Toughest game so far for both teams. BCs defense gives them the edge.

Why are you surprised? Same schedule as last year. Remember your comment “way to challenge yourself BC” next week while skull dragging New Waverly at halftime. 😂 With that being said, this year’s Bayou Bowl is shaping up to be a good one. OF is looking for a great year with a big win vs Woodville. Both teams should be 2-0 going into the game.

BC/Silsbee summary. 1s V 1s both offenses struggled. The only TD score came at the very end of the live half with BCs backups in and a couple of JV kids that were pulled up. Overall, both defenses killed it. Both offenses need a lot of work. Think both teams will improve offensively and have a great year with that kind of defensive showing.

That sophomore group was pretty darn good last year. They dominated the freshman level. Curious to see how they fare the next couple of years.

1. Bridge City (BC has a solid defense returning. If the new QB can get the ball to his playmakers to compliment that brute in the backfield, and everyone stays healthy, look out) 2. LCM (LCM lost some great players on defense, but the offense should be in good shape. I do think BCs defense will keep this offense in check come October.) 3. Huffman (Graduated Sawyer Jameson and that giant TE/DE #0. Curious to see how they reload. Should still be competitive) 4. Lumberton or HJ (HJ is well coached and they have some good athletes that should make some noise this season. I also got my eyes on that QB from Lumberton. Kid throws a good ball and I feel Lumberton's season was a wash after he got hurt early last year.) I don't know enough about Vidor, Livingston, or Liberty to make a prediction.
