  1. Furr and Kirbyville were good confidence booster wins. Don't assume Concordia Lutheran is in the same private school talent level as to the likes of Kelly. Concordia is well coached, quick, disciplined and they run a very efficient offense. They have had great success in other sports and show to have great athletes. This will be no cakewalk for the Lumberton Raiders. A win here will have to be earned.
  2. I tried to give LCM the benefit of the doubt.. lol
  3. I think LCM could be better at hindering the Vidor run offense due to the fact that a lot of teams in this area run the Slot T offense. Caney Creek and Montgomery are used to defending the spread attack.
  4. Two high powered teams battling it out. I give the Woodville Eagles the edge in a high scoring affair. Both teams will put on an offensive show. It could very well be determined by whose defense will step up first.
  5. Hey, take it easy on the bandwagon fans. The only team we have been able to root for making it consistently past the third round of the playoffs has been WO-S and Newton. I graduated from a school that takes an annual 55 to 0 beating from the Stangs' but hey, ill root for them if they are the only team from the area left in the playoffs.
  6. The Pirates should get an easy victory this week. I can see at least 300 yards on the ground for the Pirates and the score somewhere around 42 to 14 when it is all said and done.
  7. Well.... Looks like ill take the W in my pickems.. lol
  8. Vidor residents will not pass a bond to increase their taxes to build anything. They have already denied it once and they will deny it again and again. If the FEMA deal works out, that would be great, but don't rely on the town to pass a bond to turf the field or build new schools.
