If BC loses to Huffman, I’ll lay down my axe and admit LC-M is better. BC will do good to secure to two seed. Good luck to all in the playoffs.

We can argue rules and our positions on this till we are blue in the face. You can say I need a therapist, but at the end of the day, that call undoubtedly changed the whole complexion of the game. If the officials would have gotten the call right and called face mask on LCM and then LCM went on to win the game after that, I would have been the first in line to say congrats Bears. Just like I did when LCM surprised everyone and beat Huffman last night.

I’m all for moving a guy into a situation where he could be in position to cause a turnover or score on a punt, but you have to do it within the rules. Dragging a player by the face mask is illegal. #9 was called for a face mask after a good run because he grabbed the face mask in attempt to stiff arm. That was a good call. They blew it when LCM did it and to magnify it, it resulted in a TD.

The points LCM gained off that blown call inevitably led to them winning. Admit that and I’ll never speak on it again. I’m not senseless or crazy for saying these things. As a BC fan, it sucks seeing the game decided that way. There will always be an asterisks next to the W in the eyes of many. It is what is. With that being said, LCM’s win over Huffman was impressive, they had to mount a comeback and hold them scoreless to achieve that. It was a true earned W.

The player that the ball hit was being drug by his face mask by an LCM player with TWO hands right in front of the official. That is the whole complaint. He couldn’t just get away.

BC won’t be giving up 40 to Huffman so I don’t know what “levels” above you think LCM is compared to BC. LCM logic: We won by three points and were gifted 7, but we are gonna pretend like we are this superior team that dominated the game.

Straight up. Bridge City is better than LC-M.

Congrats OF. Didn’t think they would be the DC. They have gotten better each week with the new offensive scheme. Wouldn’t be surprised at a nice playoff run.

Ill man up and admit being wrong on the total yardage, BUT I am not wrong about what happened on the 7 point gift from the refs, or the clear favoritism towards Peevey the entire game. If that cannot be acknowledged, then it is what it is. Peevey will just continue being a strong arm in the SETX TASO Chapter, and get away with what he wants. On the other argument, could BC have performed better offensively and defensively? Yes, without a doubt, but let's not sit here and say LCM is a better football team in any capacity because they won by 3 points and were gifted 7.

LCM could’ve been flagged on every play. They can’t function without holding every single play. Offensively BC outperformed LCM. The difference in the game was the BS call on the punt.

Scoreboard said 7 points were gifted to the bears by referees that were in Peevey's pocket the whole game. Take away that gift of 7 points and LCM loses. Simple as that. LCM isn't better than BC. Not in the slightest bit.

If you consider this as LC-M being a better football team than BC, then fine, so be it. I'll be sure to add you to the incompetent "I have no football knowledge list" and call it square.

I have been high on BC this year and I have overstated my opinion on the game. It is what it is. It is a great example of "life ain't fair". It's Monday and it is time to move on and move forward. There is no point in bickering about it anymore, and there is absolutely no point in comparing past to present. 1960s football and 2020s football are just not comparable, because the game has evolved so much. You can get away with running 1960s styles of offense today in smaller schools and have success, but as you go up through the classifications, it is harder and harder. Not saying it is impossible, but the majority will not be successful. It just isn't comparable. Let's all just move on and get on with our lives.

It is what it is. Nothing is gonna change the outcome of the game. I do hope there is something that can be done to address the officiating crew. And I hope they can better serve the teams they call a game for in the future. I’ll leave it at that.

What are you talking about? He was in the side judge’s ear all night. The obvious favoritism came on the LCM punt. Let’s run it back. BCs defense stuffed LCM and forced that punt. During the punt, the BC player gets face mask drug into the path of the ball. The ball hits him and goes into the end zone. LCM player picks ball up in the end zone. Should’ve been called a face mask against LCM. Peevey then runs onto the field to the 3 yard line barging into the ref huddle and starts barking (should’ve been at least a sideline warning) Refs then call TD bears. That’s a 7 point gift on SPECIAL TEAMS on a blown blatant-as-blatant can get face mask call and not to mention Peevey not getting a sideline warning is insane. You can argue smalley coming across but that was only because Peevey was in physical contact with the ref huddle. Give them both sideline warnings. I don’t care but this game was decided by the refs not LCMs football team.

Not settled yet. BC could be 2 seed and with a bit of luck, 1 seed if they can beat Huffman. Not saying they will, but there is a chance. Peevey wont be able to serenade the side judge the entire game next week @ Huffman so I expect twice as many penalties on LCM.

LCM fans saying they are the better team when they won the game by three points and seven of those points were gifted to them by the refs. It’s not legal to drag a guy by the face mask across the field. It is what it is though. Nothing will change with the Setx chapter of officials and nothing will change with Peevey’s influence on it.
