  2. I’ll take the Bobcats in a close game.
  3. I agree that there may not be alot to brag about offensively. Defensively though, in live action, the first team defense has yet to be scored on. That includes Silsbee, Newton, Buna, Orangefield, and Kirbyville. It may not mean much to you, but anyone who knows anything about football, knows defense wins games and BC has one of the best. That is why I say they would be competitive with Silsbee, Jasper, and WOS.
  4. Honestly, BC would be competitive with all of those teams except HF. To say they wouldn’t be, is crazy. I understand where you’re coming from though. Them opting up along with HJ and Liberty was definitely a business decision. Regardless though, if they go and compete for a district title, then opting up was a great move. They still have ALOT to prove though.
  5. Lumberton will be a good measuring stick of how good BC really is. If BC goes in and wins by a decent margin on the road, then the rest of that district should be worried because despite Lumberton’s 0-3 start, they aren't gonna be pushovers. Especially being at home to start district.
  6. LCM, BC and Huffman will be among the top three in the district when it comes down to the end in my opinion. I still don’t think BCs 1s have been scored on. The 13 points given up so far in 3 games have been late game scores with the 2’s and 3’s in.

  8. PNG wins by a landslide
  9. Gonna be a great game.
  10. I just don’t see Orangefield having a good day on O against Bridge City’s defense. BC wins by 3+ TDs

  12. This is going to be a great game to be at. I’ll take Silsbee in a close one with a FG to decide it. 24-21.
  13. PNG blows out BU 49 - 14
  14. West Brook wins easily.
  15. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, here is mine. They opted up to be more competitive across the board and change the scenery from the last 4 years of being the laughing stock of SETX. Honestly, from what I’ve seen so far from BC in particular they might be competing for a district title this year. Change was needed in that city. It used to be an embarrassing program. Last year BC almost lost to Buna. Only winning 20-12 This year, they dominated them. BC hasn’t completely dominated anyone in recent memory. Now, there is excitement, and the kids and community are beaming with pride. What is wrong with that? Also, we can talk about the offensive showcase BC put on, but the defense has been absolutely lights out. You are forgetting, in a live half vs Silsbee and Newton (two of the best teams in the area) and a full game vs Buna. They have only allowed 6 POINTS. Those 6 points came late with the 2s and 3s in the game. Take it how you want. They still have to go out there and prove that they are worthy of the praise. I believe that they will. Also, I’m not trying to attack you or your opinion, I just love seeing local Orange County teams be successful, especially teams that have not been competitive in recent memory. BC should be 3-0 once the fun of district play begins. District play will provide better insight to what this team is capable of.
  16. Silsbee's D-line, especially the nose, will create a lot of problems for Vidor's Oline which should handcuff Marlow from hurting them too much. It won't be a blow out though. Im expecting a relatively low scoring game especially in wet conditions. Silsbee wins 20-14
  17. Red Birds get the W here.

  19. Sure, but HF isn’t gonna be one of those wins. Give me HF by 20+
  20. Give me WOS by 30+
  21. Nederland 35 - 14
  22. From what I am collecting, Newton and BC 1s both scored in controlled portion. Newton had a couple long runs (one being a TD) called back for holding. In the two live quarters. Newton stuffed BCs first drive on offense. Newton was close to scoring on their first possession after being awarded a pass interference call, but they fumbled inside the 10 and BC recovered and completely dominated after that. BC scored 3 TDs on O and the defense shut Newton out.
