I think Hitchcock will be tougher than either team that Kountze would see in the second round. To me yes TJ has to play well but Dallion Edwards will factor just as much.

You can't forget about them because they have played in the state championship in football 3 straight years and won two of them. AAW speaks the truth but every team has them.

I'd love to see Kountze beat Teague. But they gave us a heck of a game last season. But yes I want nothing more than for Buna to beat La Marque as well.

How far is Winnie from Beaumont again? Compared to Livingston? Stop complaining your team is most likely gonna win the state championship and trust me will get plenty of coverage. Let me see .. what would I want more of... Kountze to win another state title or media coverage for a bi district/ area round easy win??... hmmmmmm

I have Jarrel La Marque La Marque La Marque wins Teague Teague The region Kountze hoping for a Kountze Buna regional final though and definitely will pull for both squads but this is how I see it. Only reason I have Kountze there instead of Hempstead is they don't handle the press well. Or at least they didn't last year.

Maybe because it didn't take a brain surgeon to realize that this was gonna be a blowout so why send crew to Livingston for a first round blowout?

No doubt La Marque has a good team. Sometimes also a team won't play as good as they would against a team they know they gotta play good against to beat, rather a team they know they should handle. La Marque has been the favorite to win the region all year. I still think If Buna or Kountze plays great against them they have a shot .

That loss still hurts... I honestly think if we win that game we are at state that year.

Along with actual D1 Talent. It takes a more well rounded talented team to win and have the success they have had at the 4A level yes. But from going to school that is pretty much known for winning in basketball all my life and watching the state tournament several times. In the lower classifications 2A and down. Sometimes 3A. If you have one D1 caliber player you are gonna win a lot of games. Now if you have possibly 2 D1 players at the 2A level. There aren't many reasons why you shouldn't be at the state tournament.

Easy now... I hurt a lot of feelings when I said this at the beginning of the season.
