The UIL isn't gonna interfere with the punishment. I very highly doubt that someone from the UIL said that.

Yeah this was my first time to watch them. They looked pretty good for the first scrimmage

I'm not just going off the video. I know LCM started it. I'm going off eye witness accounts that include people from Silsbee and LCM. Also I know he is a great kid. But kids make mistakes and have to be held accountable or they won't learn anything and think they can get away with anything.

A internet racist remark and sucker punching a player definitely aren't the same. If it was just a random bench player then no one would make a big deal about the punishment being to harsh. Typical someone would pull the race card . Also I bet this thread doesn't make another hour and it will be locked lol

This is no joke. I'm sure he is a great kid. And I'm sorry he made this mistake. But he has to live with the consequences and move on.I hope nothing but the best for him .

No it wasn't. And the fact the that I've seen reports of Silsbee having a community pep rally over the issue just baffles me. If this was just a random player that wasn't arguably the best on the team then there wouldn't be a huge uproar about it.

Probably the same one I saw... #3 for Silsbee could have just seriously jeopardized his season.

Scrimmage ended after 4 innings. Bellville looks to have a pretty decent team this year. Hit fairly well and pitching only gave up 1 hit the whole scrimmage. No errors in the field . Will scrimmage Rockdale on Saturday

I was told from a LCM parent at the game that #0 from LCM threw the first punch because someone from Silsbee tried to kick #3's feet out from under him after a foul and things got crazy after that. Don't shoot the messenger just what I was told .

I know Bellville is region 4 this year. Idk about Giddings. I'll "update" even though it's a scrimmage. Just excited to catch some baseball.

Going to check out Bellville tonight. They will host Giddings in a scrimmage. Bellville returns 8 starters from last years Area Finalist team who was knocked out by Bridge City.
