Regardless playing volleyball year around probably has a ton to do with it. Especially when they are playing on the same club team. Take Bellville for instance…. Yes they have Coach Brewer who I believe is second or third on the all time wins list. But these girls are playing club together from like 4th or 5th grade to 12th. My cousin is gonna be a freshman next year and she has played club since 4th grade. She has played with the strictly Bellville club team since 6th grade. Bellville is coming off back to back state semi final appearances. Yes club ball is a major contributor but having a expectation to win and be successful in a sport also plays a huge role IMO. Hardin and Huffman are great examples of that.

Yes they do from the late 80’s and early 90’s. I had two aunts that played for Kountze then.

They have had some decent basketball teams to. But it’s possible to be really good at one sport and meh at the rest. Hell Kountze did it with basketball for a while lol

Depending on the situation…. Idk what position the kid played BUT losing a ace pitcher in baseball vs losing a great outfielder or infielder isn’t the same

Yeah I hear Buna will be pretty decent even after losing their best player to graduation.

What’s the overall outlook on most of the teams as far as how young they are? I know Kountze has a pretty good freshman that starts and many consider to be the best player on the team. But I think there are a couple other freshman on varsity I think as well.
