February 24th at Waller High School is where it starts for me lol

With district play approaching and teams wrapping up non district and tournaments… what are everyone’s thoughts about who should make playoffs? I know the TABC pre season picks had Kountze missing the playoffs but I think they get in. Obviously EC is the favorite to win district. I think the rest will be a battle between Woodville, Kountze, and Anahuac… maybe Buna to?

Silsbee will have a great shot to win the 4A state championship this season… but as I have stated… and several other people have stated… Untied is on a different level. If everyone plays United wins by 20-30

Those matchups in the old gyms at EC and Kountze… You can’t beat those atmospheres. I remember getting out of school at 3:18 and walking outside to see people already lined up. I wish someone had the tape from those games and could share them .

Well… I think West Orange will need to straighten out the secondary. I feel like CS is gonna try and throw the ball and their QB is a hell of a player. Carthage just looked like they were losing the battle at the line of scrimmage on defense from what I saw and that QB can chew up yards if that’s the case this week. As far as their defense I feel like there are some similarities between Bellville and China Spring, but I think CS tends to tackle better. If I’m putting money on this game I’d have to bet on the cougars… they just beat Carthage and they are the team to beat in 4A D2 now IMO Can WOS win this game? Absolutely. Coach T will have a game plan for sure . CLEAN UP THE PENALTIES lol
