Another reason I don’t follow those certain volleyball polls that most people pay attention to. They had Bridge City 4th and I don’t even think they had Huffman in the top 10 which is a joke IMO. Bridge City had a good team just not a top 10 in 4A team.

3rd round isn’t anything to frown about. But Huffman was just the better team and could be the best in the region. Gonna be tough to beat

Bellville takes the first set 25-12 over Splendora

Haven’t seen anyone talking about this one. Sweeny is young but they got some size. I’d imagine HF is the favorite here but Sweeny always plays hard. They just don’t have much for weapons on offense. Their QB ain’t bad and is kinda quick .

Hopefully I make it to Splendora for Bellville vs Orangefield. But not sure yet

Also Idk if I’m gonna be able to make the trip to Splendora, and I haven’t seen anything on a live video stream of the game unfortunately.

These two teams have met twice in their history. Both within the last 5 years. 2016 Bi District Bellville 45 Orangefield 21 2017 Bi District Bellville 35 Orangefield 14 I think this is the best Bellville team in several years, but this could also be one of the better Orangefield teams they have had. Definitely not your typical 4 seed.

Silsbee definitely has a chance. Hell basically anyone has a chance to beat anyone besides Carthage I guess haha

The statement I was referring to was “There is just something about Silsbee in the playoffs “… Not “There is just something about Silsbee In the playoffs except when they have to play Carthage “

That might have been true for a few Silsbee teams up until last season

I agree Bridge City is good. Close games with El Campo are kinda concerning because they weren’t that great this year but you never know they may have played really well .

Same mascot and same fight song. A lot of similarities

I think the winner of Silsbee/Sealy (Which I think will be Sealy) could maybe give China Spring a game.

I’m not gonna say La Marque played dirty vs us… but just be ready lol

Sealy most likely has only one loss this year if it weren’t for injuries. I wish this game wasn’t the same night as Bellville vs Orangefield because I’d definitely be there. Best of luck to to our district rivals!
