Kountze’s best player was a freshman. They do lose Joubert’s son but as a team overall should be better than last season. Also have a incoming freshman that may contribute as well.

A day early, but I’ll have updates for game 1 Thursday at 7 pm. El Campo has kinda been a thorn in our sides this season but good news is they haven’t seen our #1 or 2 pitchers this season and we have seen theirs.

Graduation is gonna hurt this year. I think we are losing like 7 starters lol but all 6/7 signed yesterday to play baseball at the next level. The other one is headed to Colorado State to run track.

Was glad to see guys step up for Bellville after losing one of their best hitters/pitchers. Losing you 3 hole hitter is tough especially a day before the series. Hopefully he returns vs El Campo this week

Here we are in the third round of the playoffs and I thought it would be fun to look back at these predictions. Of the 8 remaining teams in the region 5 of them were in the top 10 pre season region favorites.

Their Ace and best player is headed to the university of Houston. Not sure if that’s to pitch or another position. He is a righty that throws high 80s and will occasionally touch 90,91. Good ball player. Other than that they play some good ball as a team. Good that Orangefield got a best of 3. Livingston has played one gamers in the first two rounds.

El Campo is gonna be a tough out for us. Had us beat in the first time we played and we came back and took the game. Beat us the second time in district. I said before the playoffs started that my non homer region pick was China Spring. Some good baseball ahead.

In all honesty I’m hoping Rusk and Bellville end up facing each other. That means Bellville will be in the regional finals. It’s all fun in games talking crap on here but you would be stupid if you didn’t think Rusk didn’t have a solid team
