Might not clinch tonight with Lee on the mound but it is only a matter of days!!

I'm hoping the filliies win tonite so the Yanks can win at home...Giradi should play all his backup players tonite..
The Yanks winning in Filthadelphia would be OK I guess, but much rather in NY!!  The Stadium would be rockin and rollin  ;D

I think the band plays Cherokee too much.

They only play Cherokee to start the game, every quarter, on touchdowns, extra points and field goals. Then again on firstdowns, fumble recoverys and interceptions. Sometimes on third down stops by the defense. Also when the game is over. Sometimes they throw one in just on good measure. Other than that, they hardly play it all! ;D

But why not use the technology that is available to them.  I don't want every strike or ball replayed but things that could easily change the game.  I understand that mistakes will be made, that is the human effect on the game.

I have no problem with the Yankees spending the money on players or any team for that matter.  You make money you have two choices you can spend it on yourself or reinvest it back into your team.  That is what Yankees owners have done.  I pick the Yankees to win and it will be hard to see.

I recently did a regression analysis on when the Astros actually spent money and how their profits attendance and other factors went up.

I know you will always have teams like the Pirates and KC complain about it but look at what the Marlins and Rays have done in recent years.
Agreed, more than half the owners in baseball can spend like the Yanks and BoSox but choose not to.
The Yankees owenrs reinvest in their team, which makes it more profitable and affords them the opportunity to sign more big name big money players.  nothing wrong with that...That's smart investing...most other successful owners probably just line their own pockets with the profits.  ::)

WOnder if the haters want some cheese with their WHINE ??

Depending on Faircloth's desires, a season or two like this and he'll be a hot commodity for a lot of jobs.  He's done an incredible job.
I totally agree....Faircloth has come in and turned things around at The Reservation!  Way to go, Indians....WE BELIEVE IN YOU!
Indeed it is, mamajag!!  It is so refreshing to see a young man with talent (both on the hardwood and gridiron) humbling himself, rather than boasting.  Big-D, always keeping God first in everything you do will make all things possible.

You're a fine young man and we are all very proud of you...God's Blessings in all you do.

Back in the Bronx.  The Yankees lost intentionally so they coud finish off the rally monkey crowd in THE STADIUM !!!  The Bombers didn't want to clinch their WS berth in LaLa land in front of all those fruits and nuts!!!  ;D ;D
Let's see, you are averaging just over 9 posts per day. Coop is averaging 44 per day.

Assuming that you can kick your post count up to about 75 per day and he maintains his current posting, you should be able to catch him in just short of 5 years.

    Good luck.   ;D
