SFA y'all remember them whippings we used to give y'all  :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D "Used to".... But I will give props....ya'll weren't the only ones.  I was there for all of them...good or bad my daddy would come back to haunt me if I didn't root for my team win or lose.... (re; Astros and Cowboys..  .  His favorite saying: If your not gonna be there in the rain then don't dare  show your face in the sunshine!
3.
Nice try. Get past coldspring before you jump to there. Brownwood has a clear road to state IMO
Not saying it's gonna happen Scooter.....just thinking now would be the time to make it interesting....lol.  Like I said, I agree with you on that...one game at a time.

 5.
ah come on!  we are just messing with scooter!  If anyone deserved to be picked on its scooter!! ;D Just out of curiosity..... and let me clarify up front, this is all hypothetical, not predictions, as like others on this site, I believe ANY team can be beat.  NO ONE is perfect and EVERYONE is subject to have an off night, that being said...here's my question:  IF Brownwood should get upset before Dec. 17, or IF Kirbyville and Brownwood should both make it there and Kirbyville wins..... is Scooter gonna come on here and eat crow????  LOL....  Maybe you guys should make some pink shirt bet...or something ryker....you know, just in case the unthinkable should somehow happen....lol  I am confident that  Kirbyville will give them a game like they haven't seen this year.  Like I said, no predicitions from this fan.  I am to superstitious ( no jinx) , and also believe in the old "one game at a time" mentality.  Sure is nice when your psychic though...to already know who wins state...but it kinda takes the fun out of it...lol :0)  All in fun btw.  I don't hate on anyone....just get a kick out of all this and IMO think SOMETHING should be at stake, as confident as Scooter is....you know...JUST IN CASE....  ;)
6.

I guess now I have to find a Kirbyville shirt to wear. ;D
I don't have one either, but Dickie Hazelwood owes me one! lol
Ya'll can call the Adminitration office for Kirbyville.  They had playoff shirts last week.  423-2284.  Thanks for the support.  Glad to see SETX backing the Cats.  I was not happy that WOS and Newton got beat out.  Good luck to you guys next year.
 7.

Mustangs deserved to lose this game! Play like crap and coached even worse LOL on both sides of the ball! But good game falcons!
Thats a little harsh. They always play real good ball and any team can have a bad night. Unfortunatly you can only have one at this point. And unless you have a stadium named after you.... saying Hooks is a bad coach is just dumb.
Well Said Kville68.  These boys came out of a tragedy that could have put them in a downward spiral, but instead they pulled themselves up and played with more heart and determination than ever!!  I commend these kids on an exceptional season.  They are loaded with talent, and will be a force to be reckoned with next year!  Great job WOS.  This Kirbyville fan is proud of you!
 8.
"Kville the new Brownwood of SE TX " Thats not funny!  LOL  Talk about a reality check!  That makes me wanna crawl up in a corner with a pacifier and never say another word! Ive been having fun with them Brownwood fans though!!  HEHE   They are easy to get fired up!
Where are you fireing em up at Ryker?  I would LOVE to read it.
 9.
Just curious, as we're all waiting for the updates on the date/time/location .. does anyone have the stats on Waco La Vega? What is their record this year, who are their losses to?...and are they a running/passing team.. or combo?
6-4 on season  3-2 in district play Here is the link to max prep for their stats: [Hidden Content]
 10.
I'll take winning over convenience any day.  I'd like the game to be Friday but as long as they win I'll be happy.  I won't question Jack, he knows what he's doing.
I agree.  My hubby and kids won't be happy they can't go...but we support Jack, he has gotten us where we are for a reason.  I will be there regardless of when or where!
 11. Any idea when official word will come in?  I was listening to the game on 1660 espn and they said it would be posted on their website..but I got nothing so far.
 12. Everybody spread the word.  Ford deserves this.  Congrats to Kville!
 13. Kirbyville will play either George West or Comfort next week.  Their game is tomorrow night so that is yet to be determined.  The location will be decided after that game and will depend on who wins.  Same with the state game.  It depends on the teams.  The venue chosen is supposed to be as close to mid way for both teams as possible, although that is not always the case depending on availablity.
 14. All this did actually happen, I was there and it wasn't blown out of proportion. Both boys were very upset. They have been apologized too and told that there would be no punishment. SO now its obvious that they did nothing wrong. Please feel free to call the school if you question this. And the person who asked what else happens at these games....these are tournements put on for fundraisers. This tournement was to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We put them on ourselves to raise money for operation graduation, little leagues, Churches, etc. There is no reason that they shouldn't have been there. Now all has been corrected, so I suppose everything will be well for a while. Apparently it was realized that boundries were overstepped.
 15. I'll be glad when this all comes out. So that everybody knows that this is all that there is to it. As I said before, Garrett is like part of our family. I know there have been problems this season with them being told they couldn't play, watch, or practice with our team, and of course like most 17 year old boys, they obviously weren't happy with being told they couldn't play. But I never thought that it would be taken this far. Afer all they weren't playing. I was there, as were many others who witnessed that they weren't playing. I disagree with a coach being able to tell a kid they can't do something outside of the clubhouse, however, that is up to the school, parents, coach as well as player, as to what the boundries are on that. All that said, I can't see how they can be told that they can't attend a charity fund raiser simply as a spectator. Regardless of what was said between the coaches and players on this matter before, it still isn't fair for them to be kicked off the team for simply being somewhere, with their parents permission.
