Yes.  Home team keeps official books.  When a problem occurs, the home plate umpire will confer with the home team's score keeper and check it with the visiting team's scorer.  Home team will be the official book though.

Dayton lost to Coldspring 9-5 yesterday.  They play North Forest and BH today.

They could get a guy that used to play for them back in the 80's by the name of Jones...I don't know where he is coaching now but he has been a DC for the past 3-4 years at various schools.

So, no mention of worrying about Dayton...I know they beat Dayton but I would hope that would fire the kids up from Dayton, knowing they are not even mentioned in the article. I guess they are going to have to earn it like everyone else in this world. No disrespect to the Crosby coach but it was a good motivational tool for Dayton...or at least should be....
