1. Golf great Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident in Florida early Friday morning, according to MyFoxOrlando.com. Woods, 33, is in the hospital in very serious condition after a single-car crash at 2:25 a.m. in which he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash is under investigation and charges are pending. Woods pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community when he struck the hydrant, the Orlando Sentinel reported, citing the FHP. He then plowed into the tree on his neighbor's property. He was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla. Woods was apparently traveling under 33 mph because the Cadillac Escalade's airbags didn't inflate, the FHP told the Sentinel. ,2933,577325,00.html]Fox News

3. Did anyone see the hog that an 18 year old from Deweyville killed?  I believe his name was Brandon Powell.  He killed it with 30.06.  It was in Thursday (Thanksgiving) Orange Leader.  That thing was HUGE.
4. It doesn't matter what you do outside of district. Win or Lose They girls are playing bigger schools and getting them ready for district.  Coach Hammerly will have her girls ready.  Best of Luck Lady Pirates.
5. Jason Bay rejects Boston first offer and will test the free agency market for the first time.
6. Yanks will go get a pitcher.  Someone like John Lackey.  Holliday will be playing for a National League team, someone who spends a lot of money.  I say the Mets if he leaves at all.
7. "The Bulldogs ran 10 plays picked up 2 first downs one on forth down by just the nose of the football, but in the end the Rebels rose up  and stopped the Bulldogs and preserved their undefeated season and defended their 23A district crown" Spoke to one of the refs after the game and he said it was so close you would needed a magnifying glass.  Both teams thought they had it.  Evadale for the Stop and Colmesneil the first. It was also a clean, well discipline game.  I can only recall about 6 or so flags.  One personal foul call where Colmesneil player slapped and Evadale player after the play was over.
Just realistic How many Wildcatters, Drillers, Mustangs games have you attended?  Do you support Lamar sports?
9. Both are going to get about the same amount.  Holliday is younger.  Bay has seem to fit into the organization pretty well.  He has adjusted to AL Pitching and the Green Monster. I say Jason Bay.
10. They did play their Varsity but  played their JV a lot and still won.
11.
Bring back to Golden Gators!
I agree.  Those were some great years.
12. Just something else that will fail in Beaumont.
13. in the 2000's the Yankees spent $1,664,615,492.00 for 2 championships The Red Sox spent $1,161,544,361.00 for 2 championships A Savings of $503,071,131.00
14. I wonder how many Cubs and Mets fans will be suing their teams for Heartbreaks ever year.
15. you think this is a surprise. Next you are going to tell me Mark McGwire did steriods
16.
Yanks need to go get Matt Holliday.
If Jason Bay leaves the Red Sox, I bet the Red Sox will bring out the check book and get him.
17. I have no problem with a team re-investing in their team instead of pocketing the money. I think the Yanks finally figure out not to pay for outdated once good players and pay them way too much money.  Kevin Brown and Randy Johnson come to mind. They learned from the Red Sox to make smart choices and invest in their farm team.  Did they overspend from 2000 to 2009 absolutely.  It FINALLY paid off from them.  I believe their payroll was 50 million more than the next team. In the same time of the over spending the Diamondbacks and Marlins won the WS.  Astros, Rockies and Tigers played in a World Series.
18. I was pretty close on this one.  I guessed 32 to 7. Congrats to both teams and good luck in Basketball.
19. Royals Trade Mark Teahan to White Sox the Royals have agreed to send the versatile Mark Teahen to the White Sox in exchange for Chris Getz and Josh Fields. Madden says Teahen is expected to replace free agent-to-be Jermaine Dye in right field.
20. Angels Re-sign Bobby Abreau the deal is worth $19MM guaranteed. Abreu will be paid $9MM in 2010 and 2011, plus a $1MM buyout of a $9MM option for 2012 that could vest based on plate appearances. Given how the market treated Abreu last year, it's not a surprise that he jumped on this offer.
21. Red Sox acquire Jeremy Hermida from the Marlins
