Buna could have played alot better!!! Turnovers killed them early and took them out of it. Momentum was huge. Newton was still the better team. Newton is too much for any team in 23aa in the last decade pretty much...

Not a whole lot today. 1 first down was on a blown coverage. Idk bout the other. Like i've been saying. Buna's younger kids stepped it up. Line looked pretty good. Defense was impressive. Ran the Ball at will too.

Not this coming up Saturday but the next Saturday Buna is scrimmaging Hemphill I believe.

They didn't just lose Marsh. They lost Jordan Nolan too. I watched him play against Warren and overlooked him. When he played us (Buna) he had a field day the second half with the secondary. Every other team in the district failed to do that period. In my opinion Nolan was not given enough credit for his teams success last year.

Buna lost I think 17 seniors to graduation. Have some backs coming back on both sides of the ball. I think we have some kid's that didn't really get the opportunity last year because of so many seniors, to show what they can do. Today at the first practice i saw that we had more bigger kids than i thought. We will definately compete as we did last year. Won't know for a fact until our first scrimmage really but we have a chance to be better. But I'm looking forward to another exciting season. I would like to wish all the teams in Southeast Texas good luck this year. DO IT BIG.

I agree but since then... Buna has had some of the stars move to other cities like silsbee. . lol So other kids that didn't play before school ball are having to step up. He has tought me practically everything i know about football and I am close to playing on the next level. I'm a huge fan of learning at an earlier age. But you are right.

Hold up.... are you retarded. TT ran the ball way better. When Raymond couldnt get the first down against buna... and tremain was having trouble from the qb spot. They moved him to tb .We knew he was getting it. And he still delivered. That was a false statement. Not sayin the other is terrible. Just that was not a very good statement

I hope they bring a little bit more to the table than they brought last year if that's the case....

There are alot of younger kids that have come along ways noone knows about that were on varsity last year. I hope everyone overlooks us though.

I guess i have the inside scoop??? And Buna's jv was much improved towards the end of the year. Just remember, It isn't going to be but a few jv players on varsity. Buna still will have talent coming back. My opinion is they will fill one of the 3 playoff spots.
