I find it kind of odd that Nederland has players from other sports playing beyond high school. I wonder if Coach English contacts any colleges about hsi players so they have an opportunity to extend their playing careers.

I been saying that for the longest if they would play inside out they will be very hard to beat.

I thought the topic was about Forney committing to Lamar. Obviously his work ethic is not an issue with Lamar. But what gets me is i've been on this sight for a couple of years and every time somebody mentions this kid name somebody has something negative to comment about this kid. What concerns me is what has this kid done to deserve all this criticism. Instead of commending him for furthering his education, you sit there and find some wrong in everything he does.  So  from across the tracks are not, this is somebody's child. I can bet some of the people that's hating on him are the same one's who smile in his face and pat him on the back for a job well done. I hope he doesnt pay attention to this mess that people post about him.

Congrats to this Forney and his family. Everybody does not  get a chance to extend there playing career beyond High School.

I COULDNT AGREE WITH WILLFOREVER MORE. ITS A SHAME THAT THIS KID'S BEEN CRITICIZED FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES. HE IS TOO THIS.. HE IS TO THAT... HE IS GOOD BUT..... AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. I KNOW FOR A FACT OF SOME OF THE FORMER BULLDOGS BEHAVIOR  THAT WAS FAR WORST. BUT WHO ARE WE KIDDING HERE,WE KNOW WHAT IT IS AND SOME OF THE PEOPLE THAT ARE POSTING THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON THIS KID CANT EVEN CAMAFLOGE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE WHAT WE THOUGHT THEY ARE. NOT TO CHOOSE SIDES BUT IF YOU REALLY LOOK AT IT WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS LACK KID FEELS THIS WAY. HE IS BEING TAUGHT THAT IF THINGS DONT GO HIS WAY JUS QUIT AND IF HE IS NOT CAREFUL HE WILL INGEST THIS TRAIT AND CARRY IT WITH HIM THE REST OF HIS LIFE. If I could remember,last year when Forney was interviewed after the Vidor game didn't Forney give most of the credit to the offensive line? And to say he constantly had to be reminded of his attitude don't u think Coach Neumann would of dismissed him by now? So u can lose that he is not a team player junk! And whoever said they would rather play a player who has a better attitude vs talent must be a current or former player who was always a backup with a "Good" attitude
