and yet these stats dont change my mind at all because the rockets have alot more weapons than the magic which means he has to spread the points.. its not a matter of strictly PPG its a matter of how productive you can be at the same time your team is.. and yao is able to average 20 ppg with the likes of Tracy Mcgrady, Aaron Brooks, Shane Battier, Ron artest, and even louis scola...

No way that they are even arguably the best offensive centers in the NBA... Yao Hands down takes this..

Shaz and Dwight are excellent DEFENSIVE centers... i said that he's the best OFFENSIVE center...

Your ignorant if you try and argue against yao being the best offensive center in the league, he has one of hte best shots for a 7 foot big man in a while, what other team uses their center to shoot technical freethrows.. now the shotblocking is difficult because he has to move so much weight around and im not sure if you yao haters know this but NBA point guards are fast and work on ways to get the ball around ppl like yao, but he alters shots, cleans up the boards, and averages 20+ points a game... what more can you ask for?

The rockets are rolling as of late, winning 8 out of their last ten, and currently on a 3 game win streak with wins over the suns, grizzlies, and nuggets. They have worked their way back up to the number to seed in the west behind only the Spurs, and the Lakers (whom they play tonight) and they're only two games back from the second seeded spurs. Now i know there are many ideas going aroung as too why they are doing as well as they are but what is the real reason behind the rockets success, is it Mcgrady getting hurt? The trade of Rafer "skip to my lou" Alston? The fact that Aaron Brooks is the starting point guard and could shoot 90 percent from the field blindfolded? or have the players just found out that they're a better team then wut they have shown and dont need to be fighting so stay in the playoff hunt? Wut is your opinions on the rockets recent success ???

well all i know is that the coaching staff does their best to get the players to a good college, but you have to realize that donahoe had a chance to play college ball and passed it up.. that wasnt sutherlands, lee's or davis's fault.. that was ryans decision... usually if someone doesnt go play college ball that has the talent too, it is their choice and no one is to blame for it..
