I think the reason is that it's a 13/14 league, and the 15's that are playing either didn't make the freshman team or they were not a freshman yet. JMO. So in saying that I think the league didn't want to turn kids away that wanted to play. JMO

What's the call? The batter is in the back of the box. Pitcher throws a curveball that breaks over the plate and then hits the batter in the leg. Is it a strike, or dead ball and the batter is awarded 1st base?

Pretty awesome of FHWS, BC is doing the same with Vidors jr. league. It's about the kiddos when it comes down to it.

Why is it that last year you could use a 2 3/4" barrell in the junior/senior league at bc but this year they tell us you can't? Just a question.

Well to clear it up a little, the ball hit the batter in the back of the leg as he tried to get out of the way. The ump called the ball dead and made him stay at the plate.
