Tough year so far for the Cougars. They can right the ship with a victory over Tarkington this Friday. At this point of the season, it’s pretty much down to one game at a time. Win, you’ve given yourself something to fight for. Lose, break out the basketballs. Buna isn’t done just yet.

Dicker hasn’t done anything tonight except miss a fg and drop a snap. He’s made one kick worth anything his entire time on the 40 acres...winner against the sooners. The Horns are laying a big egg tonight thus far.

Kind of like how it’s gone in the past. 3, maybe 4 teams battling for the final 2 spots. Anahuac/EC/Woodville top 3. Buna/Kirbyville/Hardin fight it out for 4th. Tarkington might be the spoiler. Never know.

Buna is still looking for that first win. Another tough opponent awaits them this coming Friday night. They’ll be in the hunt for the 3rd or 4th playoff spot once they get into district play.
