In this day and time, if you’re not able to finish at least 4th in your district and not make the playoffs, that is the definition of disappointment. Let the playoff t-shirt sales begin!

There have been some good battles over the years between Hemphill and CC. Im going with the vastly improved Hornets this year.

Well as we all know, it’s hard to win a college fb game. Herman needs a new line or two for his post game presser.

Texas hasn’t changed anything on defense. Same ole same. Say what you will about Charlie Strong, but he at least made the change with the DC.

Newton rolls on with another win and district championship. It won’t be close.

Buna needs to bounce back next week with a victory over Hardin. Buna, Hardin, Kirbyville, and Woodville are still in the running for a playoff spot.

That 4th spot for the playoffs will go down to the last week of district play. More than likely, it’s gonna be the winner of Kirbyville and Buna. Before that happens though, next week’s games will be huge for all the teams still fighting for 4th.
