It'll be a grand time in college station this weekend. Taking in the game day atmosphere, getting back on the winning track, putting the sumlin on the hot seat chatter to rest (give that man another pass and contract extension), but most importantly, spending quality time with your son. That's all that really matters.

What a difference 2 weeks make. From somehow being ranked #4, to the annual let's fire sumlin posts, it's time for the Aggies to face reality once again. SOS! And that's not a distress signal.

If not for Brent Musberger reminding me every 30 seconds, I might have forgotten what a fantastic venue we were viewing! The Aggies were going great in the first half when Brent was going solo. I blame this one on Jesse Palmer coming into the booth in the second half.

4 of 5 losses by a 7 points or less. Is that due to coaching? Youth? Lack of attention to detail? Preparation? Execution? Taking a play off here and then? Not knowing how to win? Wish I knew. I read the graphic that stated this group of seniors have lost 24 games, which is the most of any group since 1960. They better beat Kansas or they'll be sitting home once again this bowl season.

Sorry to hear that Knight, or any athlete for that matter, is injured to the extent his/her career is over. Same goes for the Ole Miss QB. I still give the Aggies the upper hand this week. At least Hubanek has had a bit of game experience.
