2 best years were with Johnny and Evans. Players like that only come once in awhile. Those 2 were already there for bumlin to inherit....and get a good raise and contract extension.
Fire Spav! Fire Spav! Fire Spav! Why? Kliffy calls the plays at tech. Holgerson calls the plays at West Virginia. If bumlin is from this same system, why doesn't he call the plays for aggie? That's what I'd like for him to answer and not dance around the question!
Bumlin had better get it done next season or it will be his last. Mainly because his 3rd year players are going to declare for the draft, whether ready or not. But then again, the cupcakes on the schedule will continue to have him get his 8 wins a season.
Aggies can't blame this one on spav, as they usually do. Has sumlin ever taken the 'blame' for the offense, or defense for that matter. The 'buck' should stop with sumlin.
Sumlin all calm and collected when ahead. Hardly shows any emotion. Now that they are behind, he's engaged a bit more. I guess he's starting to feel the heat on an 8, and not 9 win season, which includes 3 non conference cupcake wins. Interception. Aggies need to do something now.
Sub-pat performance by both teams. It's not so much a defensive game, rather both offenses are terrible. ATM will come out with a victory if this keeps up.
Lucky 6-0. Has nothing to do with aggies getting stops and forcing fg's. It had to do with bad play calling on the part of LSU. Aggies still in this one.
Warren about the only bright spot tonight. The defense did play well until Jenkins and Jefferson went out. Not sure if I can listen to Brando and Tillman talk about how good tech is. I know they hafta keep the audience somewhat interested, but...come on man...enough is enough.
Fans get all wrapped up in stats as to where their favorite college teams stand. It makes for good talking points to see where you sit amongst other teams. But...what good are rankings when your team is sitting at say 30th or so and you've still lost 3 or more games?
There's no reason for Sumlin to leave Aggieland. He has a great thing going. Using U of H as a stepping stone to the greener pasture of ATM was a good move. I'm not so sure the jobs that are now open, or others soon to be vacated, will be any better than what he has now. In the near future, the Aggies will be playing for a conference championship, and a contract extension, along with a big raise, will be forthcoming.
