  1. One last thing, then I hafta get the day started. Am sick and tired of all the 'we all knew before the season started this was a rebuilding year'. It's funny how that isn't talked about until 'we' start losing and losing big. I guess that logic is used to keep the wolves at bay, to keep the fat cats happy. The top tier teams on the sec west are going to continue to send a message each and every game by beating you as badly as they are able. Oh you'll be victorious once in a blue moon and you'll have the right to cherish that win. Just don't get used to it. And by the way, whatever happened to Slippery Rock?
  2. Some supporters need to take the blinders off. Recruits see what is happening on the field week in and out. A&M will definitely give a beat down to UL-M in two weeks. All the talk on one side of the fence will be 'We're Back'! Look at what we did in the bye week. The changes made by sumlin were just what we needed. As lee corso says, "Not so fast my friend." After win #6, I don't see many more victories coming their way. Actually, I see several huge losses in their future. Look for a good number of their recruits to jump ship if the losses continue to mount up.
  3. Might it be possible that the aggie coach before sumlin had all the pieces in place for a&m to have had the success they had in year 1? Year 2 not as good. That takes us to this season. The possibility of less wins than last year. Anyone else see the pattern here? At this pace, sumlin will not make it past year 5. They are quickly becoming Texas after Colt McCoy. You can get all the 4 and 5 star recruits you want, but if they are privelaged, spoiled prima dona's, can do no wrong, and still can't play, you'll become irrelevant real soon. In the long run, Texas with Charlie Strong, will be back on top much sooner than later. Ok am through rambling.
  4. We're never happy. Win we complain. Lose and the apocalypse is upon us. Texas and it's fans had better be thankful for whatever wins we have now and hopefully the ones to come.
  5. After beating UL-Monroe next week the ags will be back on top again.
  6. Hey! Things are looking up. It's only 7-0 in the second half.
  7. Bama sending a message..they're not dead yet. This is a major arse 'whoop'in?
  8. Yeah! What easy said! Now we'll hear how it wasn't their year that they're really looking forward to next year. They're still a second tier team no matter what conference they play in.
  9. It's not all on hill. If this was franchione coaching this team still, they'd run him out of town at halftime.
  10. Was referring to his 'legal' issue that is under investigation for some time now. That has evidently not been resolved. On a better note, how 'bout them Bearkats!
  11. He might not have been paid now, but I bet once he 's done at fsu, he'll be sure to get his cut. Let's see if he can wiggle his way out of his 'major' problem. That one will determine how his life is going to play out.
  12. Iowa State has been looking forward to this game since the horns stole one last year. Sure hope the horns win this one. Hang onto the dang ball when going in for the td!
  13. Depends on which team shows up..on both sides.
  14. He hasn't looked in control to me. It appeared to me against arky last week that saban was mighty close to losing it several times and giving kiffin a piece of his mind. They can say there's no turmoil in tide land but I beg to differ.
  15. #23 sure seems to drop wide open passes his way..or at least in the last two games. He's not the only one, but if they start catching some of those passes, well it sure would at least give the team a better chance of winning.
  16. Am no fan of Notre Dame, but if he plays, I hope the Irish whip them all over the field come Saturday. For that matter, whether he plays or not!
  17. Saban had better get rid of lane kiffin SOON or bama will become a second tier sec west team before long. That was a terrible hire.
  18. Sam takes another one.
  19. Crab legs, shouting obscenities in the cafeteria, signing memorabilia out of the kindness of his heart and not for monetary gain, where does it end. I forgot to add allegedly. Am losing respect for his coach. Big time fb placing more emphasis on winning, which is the name of the game, over building character. Sounds like a kid being sent to the office and being questioned by the principal. "Did you do what the teacher said"? "No I didn't". Ok no harm.
  20. Isn't he the same offensive coordinator that has helped them win 6 games? He's not the one blocking, running, or missing passes. The aggies made the plays in their winning streak. Now they're not. Footsteps maybe?
  21. A couple of late meaningless touchdowns sure made the game look a lot closer. With the bama game coming up soon, it could be more of the same. Saban looked mighty ticked off at kiffin yesterday and I believe he's gonna take back control of his team. This won't be good for aggie.
  22. Am gonna sound like aggie now but I can't wait til next year.
  23. Took them 7 weeks to decide South Carolina wasn't (isn't) very good? Looks like good scheduling got the aggies to the magical 6. There will be several more 'WHOOP'ings before this season is over. I forgot, this is the sec west we're talking about. My bad!
  24. I thought aggies never walked out on their team to beat the traffic. Looks to me like they're filing for the exits mighty early.
  25. Problem is they might not beat Baylor. So much for that 'great' Patterson TCU defense. 58-58
