Wednesday headline: Overconfident Central falls to Ozen  ;)

I love to watch Zack play. He never gets flustered under any circumstances. He has one of the best looking shots around. I think he is capable of scoring 20+ a game, but he plays within the game plan and does whatever it takes to win.

They play at Central, which gives them the edge. IMO, they are fairly evenly matched. Since it is almost impossible to beat a quality opponent 3 times in a season, I am going with the assumption that it IS impossible to beat them 4 times in a season. This is the one and only time I will go with Ozen  ;D

CONGRATULATIONS JAMIERE. Nederland's defense  has been winning games and Jamiere has been a huge part of that! !

LCM has 3 losses, to Central, Ozen and Nederland. On their home court they lost to Ozen by 1 and Nederland by 2. Central has to travel to LCM in the second half. That will be a tough game. LCM is improving. They may end up in that 3rd spot  ;)

WOW..Hats off to LCM for a great effort. When you are on top everyone will be gunning to be the one to knock you off, and therefore Nederland gets every opponents best effort. LCM will continue to make noise in the 2nd half. Any way you spin this game, Dogs are undefeated in 1st half,  and the streak continues 26-0

Wait for the big comeback!  ;D

Nederland travels to LCM tonite to wrap up the 1st half of district. LCM is improving...good big man, with improving guard play. Will Nederland keep their district winning streak alive?

IMO most kids are never instructed on proper mechanics, and proper drills to reinforce these mechanics. They are just told to go and practice their shooting, and end up reinforcing bad habits.

Our varsity group now is made up of many of the boys who played in Little dribblers the 1st year it began in Nederland.  Little dribblers can be a great asset if organized and ran with the bigger picture in mind.
