1.
What is the story on Benoit from PNG? I noticed he wasn't in the lineup. If it's injury related I wish him the best.
Rumor has it and its only a rumor that hasn't been confirmed by me is that Benoit my undergo Tommy Johns surgery. Like I said I received this info 2nd hand.
 2. Looks like J'Covan is back to his normal ways. Baylor leaves orange burning Anger boils over in Texas’ latest loss By MIKE FINGER Austin Bureau March 12, 2010, 12:47AM KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For two months it built inside of them, even while they consistently denied it. As each loss piled on the next and a No. 1 national ranking gave way to a staggering collapse, the Texas Longhorns insisted they were fine, refusing to allow anything to spill over into an outward show of frustration. But Thursday in the Big 12 tournament, against an opponent they used to dominate but suddenly can’t beat, it finally came pouring out. With quick-tempered words here, an angry spike of the ball there, and pained faces all over the court, the Longhorns could no longer hide their dejection as they suffered an 86-67 loss to Baylor at Sprint Center. The third-seeded Bears outperformed and outclassed the sixth-seeded Longhorns in almost every way. Ekpe Udoh scored 25 points, Tweety Carter had 20, and LaceDarius Dunn had 19 to lead Baylor to its first four-game winning streak over UT in 27 years, with three of the wins coming this season and two in the last six days. “We wanted to come and show we belong,” Carter said. “Our season is bigger than beating Texas.” Baylor (25-6), having received a first-round bye for the first time in the 14-year history of the tournament, advanced to tonight’s semifinal game against second-seeded Kansas State.   The Longhorns (24-9), who won their first 24 games against the Bears under coach Rick Barnes, continued to experience not only their Baylor-related problems but also the bigger ones that have led to a two-month implosion. After starting the season 17-0, UT heads to the NCAA Tournament having lost nine of 16 games and looking poised to receive a seed in the Nos. 6-9 range. “It really sums up our season the last couple of months,” Barnes said of Thursday’s loss. “We went through a 4-to-5-minute stretch where we unraveled.” Signs of UT’s desperation were evident all night. Freshman guard J’Covan Brown, benched for the second consecutive game, earned a technical foul without even taking off his warmups. Early in the first half, after Carter bumped James, Dunn stepped in to separate them heading into a timeout. Brown came onto the floor and started jawing at Dunn, with both players receiving technicals. Later, as the teams headed into the locker rooms at halftime, James and Dunn exchanged more heated words. James — who led UT with 18 points and 12 rebounds — received a technical of his own when he spiked the ball hard after UT gave up a basket in the second half. Baylor, meanwhile, had to weather one brief UT run in the second half — the Longhorns cut it to five with 8:13 left — but otherwise cruised. “We were having fun out there,” Udoh said. “You could see it on our faces.” And this time, the Longhorns’ faces were just as revealing.

I do understand the mentality that he wants the kids to have, I just wish he would teach a little humility as well.
I remember in the early 90's when HJ was beating up on folks. I think one game they beat Hardin by over 100 and they kept pressing.
 4. Actually Malone is in Nebraska.
 5. I saw during the Rockets game a couple days ago they were interviewing Moochie Norris, He stated he was a coach for Westbury.
 6. Congrats Jags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be there next week to pull for you!!!!!
 7. Good luck to all the area teams tonight and safe travel for all. Other areas of the state think none of the area teams have a chance. Let all prove them wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dayton, Crosby, and GCM fans....come join Bh and root for us to beat PNG.  Dayton fans, please wear your white away shirts and not purple, ..... ;)
I apologize to all the Indian followers.......I can guarantee you that all BH fans don't behave in this manner.  We all respect what you have and how you play the game.  I was in attendence at the Astrodome years ago and I know how passionate your fans are.   Be careful on the drive over.
Likewise, we have a few fans that act the same way.
 9. Matthew Viverette is a heck if a football player, congrats to him on this nomination.

 11.
PNG beats Central and Nederland loses Friday , Coach Faircloth no doubt. If Nederland wins , he splits with Coach Nuemann.
I have to disagree. Although Nederland has had injuries to the QB, PNG has had several injuries to there Offensive line. We have had a make shift offensive line all year. Our starting safety has been out the past couple games. Faircloth hands down no matter the outcome Friday Night.
 12.
I am glad that Beaumont is getting this new facility for their schools. I do question why the stadium is only going to have a 10,500 seat capacity. I mean Silsbee's Tiger Stadium has a capacity of 10,000. I would have thought this new stadium would have at least been 13,000-15,000 capacity.
Why?? The won't fill it.................Silsbee has a larger following then BISD.
 13. Who cares if BISD only builds a 10k stadium. They will not fill half of the side because it cost to get in. The only time there will be any crowd is when they play a Mid County team.
 14.
Its not really PNG you are mad at lets be honest. Remember I got a phone # for sponge bob itchy bottom to a thearopist who specializes in these sort of things. I will share it with you if you like.   LOL     ;D
Pssst, he is a Goose Creek fan..... There not use to winning anything!!!!
 15. This will be a good game that could go either way. Just hope for a good clean game with no injuries, I want both PNG and Central to go deep in the playoffs and represent the GT area. If we're not playing I'll but up next to Soulja yelling for the Jags like I did last year.
 16.
I guess what the PNG fans are saying is that THEIR team has found a way to get better as the season has progressed (I imagine it was done with hard work and superior coaching). While all the other teams, especially those in the inferior 19-4A, have maintained their poor work habits and their coaches have made no adjustments. Garbage in, garbage out. I say we all just forefit and hand the trophy over to the Indians. We do not stand a chance. Their fans and their long standing tradition of excellence are just too much for us to overcome. What were we thinking? We are not worthy. Thanks for just allowing us to be in your presence.
Ranger I can understand your frustrations being a Goose Creek ISD fan. Never much to look foward to.
 17.

What a game!  SO many personal fouls AGAIN for GCM.  Demartie Allen ejected!  Coach Boyd personal foul!  Patriots won but shaking my head at how the game was played.  It was a win, but it was a small victory. >:(
#46 of KP should have been ejected early in the first half. Even their CHEERLEADERS were taunting our players when they went out of bounds! They only thing KP has to be proud of is that they are now the ONLY team GCM has beaten TWICE! Enjoy basketball chumps! The officiating was HORRIBLE. I am so proud that Coach Boyd expressed his discontent. More power to ya coach! I'm not gonna defend Demartie. I talked to him during the first half when the KPark players where baiting him and getting "in his head". I told him he was better than that. He will have to fix those issues to be successful on the next level. Demartie WILL play at the next level! Congrats Patriots! 7-3 and third place in 19-4A. Not bad for year 2. How was your second year K Park?
Do you whine on everyone of your post>????
 18.
Ya know, I once was so impressed by the PNG's following of their team, but you guys are so rabid, BH will need rabies shots.
Have to understand some of the PNG folks that are running there mouths on here are move ins that have never experienced this before. They don't know how to act........lol There very excited.
 19.

Hopefully these two teams don't beat each other up to bad for their playoff games.
It's gonna be the coaches job to monitor that, closely. It is more important than the win to avoid injuries. I rather my jags go further in district than get all banged up and can't compete in playoffs.
Agree. I think both coaches are to smart. This game is more for bragging rights.

Come On, you can't be serious, State Title, your rookie Coach and lack of team speed, wont be able to get you guys out of the first round. You need someone like THE "DON" to get you guys to the promise land.
That's funny because that slow team you guys keep harpin on made it to the State title in '99 because they were disciplined and executed a gameplan the way it was designed. They also were hard hitting and intimidating on defense. Speed is not the end all be all! Also the teams we played that year in the semis and title game were not fast either (Shertz Clemens and Stephenville). The speed team was Lamarque and we smoked them!
Did you really just mention something that happened in 1999? Wow! No wonder you PNG people do not know how to act. It's been a while eh? 1999 The worlds population exceeds Six Billion.
