Man I wanted a shut about but I can understand Faircloth not wanting any stupid injuries. Backups played the whole 4th. This game was NEVER close until all the starters were removed.

I was disappointed in the amout of Raider fans that left before the game was over. If you want to have a successful program you need to support the kids and coaches through the good times as well as the bad times. Last year when all the PNG fans wanted our coaches heads the fans STILL packed the stands until the final whistle blew. This year is a reality check for the real Raider fans.

Soulja, PNG was in the same boat. No one gave us a chance for the playoffs. Guess we both showed the non believers. :P :P :P :P

I cannot say anything negative about Lumberton. This will be a good game and you can bet Coach C will have the Raiders ready to play. We need to come out with the same intensity we've shown the past several games.

I have set back and watched this thread for sometime and really don't have a dog in this fight. From what I've read and seen this district is really weak. I went and watch Cleveland play Bridge City a couple years ago at our field in the payoffs and Bridge City put a spanking on Cleveland so keep telling yourselves how Cleveland is so good when your district is so weak. Cleveland could not compete in the district with WOS, Jasper, Silsbee...etc and from I have been reading LaMarque is moving down to 3A next year.

Yes badnd, BMT stadium will be nicer but it will NEVER have the atmosphere that the revervation has.

I thought that earlier this summer as well, when the rumor was that Bellows was not going to play and focus only on baseball. But with the best QB in 20-4A coming back? No way they are left out. Plus I believe Lovelace (sp?) will be bruising it up like their running back (his name escapes me at the moment -- was it Grogan?) did last year. Expect the same look from the Bulldogs this year. And, while PN-G may look better under their new coach, no one goes from zero to hero in one year. I see PN-G getting 4 wins or so in route to building up a strong program again though. (And before you Indian faithful say we have pulled a zero to hero this year, compare our records last year. Vidor has built up to this year off last year's program.) So RustedCutlass what do you think now??????????????? I just went back and read this whole thread................. Funny Funny Funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about the fumble on Vidors opening offensive play??? And home cooking??? We had 6 penalties an Vidor had 0. So stop using excuses.

Vidor has talent, but needs to be more balanced on offense. To one dimentional. Game was really never close.
