Agreed liltex, I am not saying we are deserving of the ranking. I am just looking for improvement from last year. Like you said champions are not built over night.

You must have a short memory bc last time our district came south stomped a hole in your district. Kilgore, Jacksonville and Marshall ring a bell? Ask Nederland, Ozen, and I want to say PNG. Was not good and history will repeat itself IF your teams get that far. Last year Longview lost to Lake Travis and SS won state. Toughest district in the state for four-a. etbu, I am a bit confused. Aren't you a Huffman guy? Where is this Marshall stuff coming from? Wouldn't your district be 22-3A? If he is from Huffman when have they ever done anything??? Huffman can't even do anything in 3a.

I have no idea where we'll finish this year. I think we'll be much improved from last year but don't know if it'll be enough to win district. But I think we'll make the playoffs.

Can someone please email this to Coach Price ;D This happens everywhere. PNG has been the master of tunnel vision these past several years but hopefully this has changed with the new coaching staff.

I copied this off of the PNG website. this shows the dedication these new coaches have towards the program and to the future of PNG. Special thanks goes out to Coaches Faircloth, Carey, Cox, and Templin for spending eight hours on Saturday with the PNGYFA youth football coaches. They held a clinic at the field house to teach us the new system so that we can try and pass this on to the younger kids and get them ready. Coach Faircloth and Coach Carey talked offense for the first four hours and Coach Cox and Coach Templin talked defense after lunch. Coach Carey even took offensive line coaches into a separate "group session" to go over blocking schemes. I wanted to let the fans know that we have a special group of coaches at PN-G, who GENUINELY care about all of the kids and are here to BUILD A PROGRAM. I wish that all of you could have heard these coaches speak. It took ten whole minutes to get "pumped up" about the upcoming season. Coach Faircloth told us that the pressure is on us now, because he will be at the youth football games on Saturdays to make sure that we are teaching the kids correctly. Man, it's great to have coaches involved in ALL LEVELS OF PN-G FOOTBALL. Thanks to all of you who participated in the clinic and for taking time for PN-G youth football !

I don't think L-Town would want any of Cleveland this year.

The sad thing is AJ I support Lumberton and the direction there going. I went to several of Lumbertons playoff games the past 2 seasons to support you guys. But some fans get on here and go on and on and on and on and they haven't taken the first snap this year. But honestly I think Lumberton will be in the mix again this season. I think we'll be much improved, but how much I cannot answer until after the first couple games.

Ned, i just hope you are a parent and not an offensive player, if by chance you are a player, when you guys come to Lumberton...........let's just say, ice it down and the swelling will eventually go away, because the hitting is gonna be hard hard hard. are you a parent? because if you are why are you talking trash to highschool kids? Let them run there mouths all they want. We'll let the talk happen on the field between the players, not between grown men trying to relive there days of going 0-10 with there only 2 successful years in team history.
