Playoff atmoshere. That softmore Herring for HF looked really good holding the powerehouse BC close until late in the game. Of coarse the Bridge City pitcher senior Lemoine looked good as well. Could have went either way, but the error bug got HF again.
A little different view on the same game. Certainly agree Herring pitched well but he also got hit hard. 2 fabulous plays by the center fielder with runners in scoring position kept the game in check for sure, both plays were stellar. Not sure about "error bug" comment, the one at 3rd was a tough one because Hubbard scorched that one. A few of the fielders choices left me scratching my head but it eventually worked out. The home run by Williamson was a no doubter, got the pitch he guessed was coming and did not miss it all! The ball hit to deep left by Hicks was also squared up, Langston made a nice play running that missile down for a LONG OUT. BC has to be happy with a few things as well. First their defense looks top notch! Very nice infield play by Guidry, Smith, and Sampere. The double play they rolled was a tough chance and Smith just gobbled everything up in the middle. Guidry's play ranging to his left was a gem as well. Seeing Menard swing the bat with authority is a welcome sight, especially this close to the playoffs. The close game was much needed as BC hasn't really been tested during district and it was good to see how they handled the situation. All in all a good game for this time of the year. Rake1
Good points, it was a great game.
Sounds like I missed a good one :(
 2. Thanks...................... Got them updated

BC-8 HF-0
Thats a bold prediction critter. lol  :)
OK let me retract that score:If Lemoine pitches BC-10 HF- 0 If Guidry pitches: BC-10 HF- 0 LOL.... this should get things started.....LOL......
 8.
True that! But Hj still being mathmatically in the hunt, they will probably empty the barn also!!! Good luck to both!
I guess we will see who has the better built barn.....  ;D  good luck to both teams and safe travels for all...... And I hope the rain holds off!!!!!!!!!
 9.
Some of the comments on this thread are despicable.  This is not some NBA or MLB free agent that should be shopping his talents and taking them to South Beach or Bridge City or Brenham for that matter.  The kid has great talent, but three schools in three years with a fourth looking imminent is pretty indicative of a problem.  Baseball should be secondary for this kid right now.  Hopefully he will get his life straight and settled down and then focus on playing.  For some of the adults on here to even jest that he should move to this place or that place to benefit their program is pretty disgusting and insensitive given what has been documented with this kid already.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Ever heard of a thing called a "JOKE"? Look it up in the dictionary and then repost your non-sense. BTW Who even says that he would make the BC or Brenham team?
 10.

OF takes this one..... OF-7 HJ-4
Or maybe an HJ win! You never know. It will be tough for them to get hyped up after that Silsbee upset, but I have always heard beware of the underdog.
That is always true... But with OF needed to win out to secure their playoff hope I imagine they will empty the barn to win this game.
 11. OF takes this one..... OF-7 HJ-4
 12. Any word of where he is thinking about going?.... BC is always a contender :)
 13. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thinking HF will get a heavy dose of Lemoine tonight? or maybe a mixture of a few Cards. BC-8 HF-0
 14. Tigers should get back on track in this game.  I expect WOS to pitch their #1 tonight since they saved him Tuesday/Wed. Silsbee- 8 WOS  - 3

 16.
548 at this time last year, 213 current. 63% drop
These stinking bats!!!!..... LOL  Sure is making pitchers look better this year as long the defense plays behind them.
 17.
In 10 years around the campfire, at the beach or his son's t-ball game. "Dad did you ever hit a HR"? Well, keep this to yourself but against Lumberton one year, I struck out 16, no-hitter and topped it off with a Grandslam.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
 18.
Its a shame that the Livingston Baseball Players do not get the recognition that they deserve.
You can make you own list..... The last list by Raiderfan19 looks solid.  It would take some serious talent to break into that group.... IMO
 19. Got them updated ................ Thanks
 20.
BAYTOWN LEE Mikey Gomez -2 run bomb.... Harrison Weir-Grand Slam
What class is Weir? The rest are updated....... Thanks

We will see you next year in 3A.  ;)
dont worry the boys are ready for yall haha better not count the little cougs out tied BC and lost to silsbee by 3 when basketball just got back with no practises  ;D
Here we go with the tie stuff...... Be honest, do you think Buna can beat BC if one of the starting 3 pitchers pitch more than 3 innings?  I hope the move down to 21-3A treats you kind.
 24. Way to go HF......... Making the playoff race even tighter.
