Would this be the right move? with other LSU players being drafted he might see more playing time.

I remember stepping in the box on the left side and trying to imitate Junior......WOW, what times I loved to see his swing. Has to be a top 5 Swing and it looked effortless. -
Boozing it up at 3 yrs. old?????? WOW, and the camera wasn't on the Philies....lol... Who just sits there taking pictures and hoping to get an odd one?
Parker had the best display of hitting I've seen in awhile against BC, in the Orangefield series Felts was the best player on the field imo.
Absolutely agree with you with your statement about Parker..... However, IMO I think more pitchers use more caution while pitching to Felts IMO...
If they both are going to UT we will find out who is better in time.
They're not both going to UT.... I think he means Parker will play at UT for the state tourney. Felts is already A Longhorn. Parker should be just fine wherever he goes.

And don't forget the main stat "NO WALKS" no free base runners.... Outstanding

Parker when asked always seemed to stay humble and lead his team.. now that felts season is over and having the opurtunity to watch both young men head to head, Parker is the best catcher in southeast texas..
You must have been watching different games than most of us. Parker may have a slight edge in hitting, although Felts had his fair share of hits in that series, Felts is a much better defensive catcher. Better pop, stronger arm, and had zero past balls!!
I think he's trying to get another debate started....

Prayers from BC/OF.... Get well soon
I'm working at a hospital out here in Central TX, near Austin. I'm taking care of an elderly lady and she's talking to me about a high school baseball game she recently attended. I'm wondering why a lady of her age, in her condition was recently at a high school baseball game. Anyways, she tells me that during the baseball game she keeps hearing this "zinging noise" and can't figure out where the noise is coming from. Says she's never heard a noise like that before during a baseball game. Her husband too cannot figure out where the zinging is coming from. According to the lady, the "zinging noise" goes on and on so the nice, elderly lady finally turns around and asks someone in the stands, "Do you hear that? What's that zinging I'm hearing?" The person in the stands tells the lady, "That's the pitcher pitching the ball". Turns out the lady is a relative of Coldspring's coach, attends their games fairly regularly, and that's Matt Hicks on the mound making the "zinging noise".
Too Fuuunnnyyy!!!!!

Even with all of the talent BC puts out each year. Also, very impressed with Parkers bat, very patient hitter. Is Parker going to play college ball?
Texarkana, I believe. The article was from 2006..just showing some appreciation for how good Hicks has been all 4 years.
I remember hearing here at work to watch out for this little shaggy haired kid named Matt Hicks from a co-worker. He told me that this kid was going to be the real deal when he gets into High School, so therefore I listen to my co-worker more now.....lol

Coach Stone was a fine coach... And to give away alittle bit of my age, I played football for him at Orangefield when he coached FB. He will be missed as a coach because of his love and knowledge of HS sports.
